Location under renovation, was not told that upon making reservations through Expedia nor when I called to confirm that pool was open. Place was clean even through renovation was going on. The indoor pool was cold and was not communicated during the phone call, but right before checking in. I did stick my hand in and it was cold, but didn't think it would be too much of an issue once we got in. This was just an over night to get away and swim with 8, 7, and 4 yr olds. Once we got checked in, we got our suits on and headed to the pool. The room itself was cool and we had to turn on 1 of the 2 heaters, which didn't work very well either. There were no pool towels and only 2 in the room. (There were 5 of us) Had to ask for some from front desk, and they seem reluctant to give any and only got 2. Unsure what pool temp was due to no thermometer, but water was very cold once we got in and never warmed up with getting in and movement. Pool was also dirty wirh sand in the bottom and didn't smell any chlorine. We tried to make the best of it, but was not a fun or comfortable experience. The exercise room was not available, the dryer was out of order, and breakfast was a bad experience. Unsure if cereal was good, but did have 2 types in a dispenser, a gallon of milk sitting out on the counter, 2 just slightly cooler than room temp yogurts, couple slices of white/wheat bread, oj/cranberry juice dispenser, and waffle maker. The oj did not taste right and we had to throw out our waffles because the batter didn't taste right. We asked for another little soap, and was told only 1 per room. The staff was polite but reluctant for towel request and after show of frustration was offered to dry bathing suits in their dryer. (I did offer to pay the $2 that I was going to pay for the other one) Over all, was more frustrated with being charged $83 for an experience that was more of a $50. Especially with amenities being unavailable, not working properly or at all. Unfortunately, there was not enough good to out weigh the bad to make another...

Everything is gutted and in total disarray. At best it looks tacky, at worst it feels like we're trespassing in a dystopian wasteland. The lady who checked us in wasn't apologetic or informative about the state of the building. She clearly didn't want to be in this decrepit place, either.
More concerning than the renovations was the negligence of housekeeping. We were only given two towels (for three guests) and a half used roll of toilet paper. One of the hand towels below the sink looked used and refolded because it dried wrinkled, and I assume that was the case because there was a second used cloth of some sort further under the sink. The desk had a white powder in the drawer. The plastic wrapper of the cream and sugar by the coffee station was blatantly open. Oh, and we had two mini fridges and two microwaves. But only one of each worked, and it wasn't a pair that were stacked on top of each other. That was more humorous than annoying, but come on. Do better.
That's it. That's the review: Do better! Get staff that actually cares about their guests. Don't charge regular rates for substandard unclean rooms during ongoing renovations.
To anyone considering staying here, I highly recommend going anywhere else. This place is a long way from being suitable for travelers, and you're not going to save any money by sacrificing cleanliness and quality and decent customer service. My family was in town for a funeral and not up for confrontation or complications, otherwise I would have canceled the reservation the second I walked into the humid,...
Read more1st room the refrigerator didnt work, tub wouldnt hold water. I called front desk and the clerk said stick a rag in it so told her i couldn't because the space was not big enough. So she comes to try and replace it,doesn't work. And I tell her something has to be done, she reluctantly said she would have to call manager. I wait about 5 mins and no call or clerk back at room. I send my granddaughter with keys to front desk. She rolled her eyes at her and said she will get her new keys when I'm done. VERY RUDE TO A CHILD. So about 5 more mins and ahe shows up with keys. Get to other room and was looking for a plug in, 1 behind night stand so I had to move it up some and was horrified at the dirt and hair and a qtip back there. Wish I would of asked for money back but kids wanted to swim. Now we are in bed and cant go to sleep for the screaming in the hallway and what sounded like a herd of elephants upstairs. I call front desk to complain,of course nothing changed about that. Next morning we went to get breakfast and nothing but 6 sausage links. Just great!!!! That's not all either,my granddaughter flushed the toilet and water flooded the floor another call to front desk. The housekeeper comes in my room without knocking and unannounced. Then to put the cherry on top of my story while packing our stuff we see a cockroach crawling out from under cover. Someone needs to do an inspection and hire a real housekeeper. They were not in any kind of uniform, unless warm ups and tank top is standard uniform. NEVER GIVE MY MONEY TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. DISGUSTING AND VERY...
