Never expected such luxury in downtown Shelbyville! This is a manless hotel with only 8 rooms so it's very private and makes you feel at home. There's a big common area with table and chairs for board games, reclining sofa with tv, kitchen with a microwave and fridge. There's also a huge dining room. Upstairs(which is accessible by stairs or a 2 man lift) has a verdana with a fireplace and a door that opens to let in fresh air. The room we stayed in was 8, had a soaking tub and a king bed. All the fixtures and amenities were beyond expectations, from the softness of the bed linens and towels to the imported bath salts. The shower had great pressure, the bed was firm but not too much.
