We had 2 teams staying here for baseball. The 2 nights we stayed we were KICKED out of the lobby at 10pm! We travel ALOT, Staying at many hotels, including Hiltons! We have never had a curfew for the lobby. The first night we sat outside on a bench talking quietly after and still got crap for that. The 2nd night we had a group watching basketball on the TV and another playing cards. Not doing anything loud besides talking within ourselves. The front desk lady again started yelling and telling us it's QUIET time (we weren't being loud). Turned the TV off on the people watching. Of course some people got upset. This lady has been nothing but rude the entire time. I can't speak for all the people and kids, but my child was with us PLAYING cards, not causing chaos and still was treated very rudely.
Rooms are okay. But Many people also asked for rooms to be flipped numerous times since the morning. Which never happened. The bathrooms are tiny.
The breakfast is horrible, only basically bagels and cereal. Theres no other place to get together besides this tiny lobby, no gym, no pool. Theres many better hotels in Hershey, we will be staying at them next time. This was absolutely ridiculous! This lady needs to not work in customer service. She is...
Read moreI enjoyed my stay. When i 1st arrived, i was greeted by a very professional employee named Aryan. He answered all my questions and got me set up with our room. Once in the room, i got a text from him in case i had any questions during my stay. I thought this was great service as i asked when breakfast was the next day and he replied immediately.||||The next morning, while having breakfast i let Aryan know that there was no more coffee, and he refilled it immediately. You can tell he really cares about his work, it's refreshing to see.||||Elevator chimes were way too loud. Parking was a problem as i came back from a show at Hershey Stadium and there were only 2 spots left and i had a really difficult time parking my van between pick up trucks. The night receptionist didn't really have an answer for my parking so i spoke to the manager the next day and was told they know it's an issue and they are trying to solve it. The night receptionist did however receive my door dash order for me, which was convenient as i wasn't sure when i was going to get back to the hotel because of parking traffic on the way out...
Read moreThe location is perfect for visiting Hershey. The staff was unbelievably friendly and welcoming. The warm cookies and lemonade were my daughter’s favorite part of vacation. She looked forward to them each day after a long day at the park.
The hotel used to be a Quality Inn, I believe. It had some renovations and it lived up to what I feel is the Hilton standard. The rooms are clean and smell fresh. The AC was also clean, but could have been colder. We went during a nice little hot/humid wave over the weekend.
The bathroom was very clean and came with the great shower gel, shampoo and conditioner we like to use when staying at the hotels.
In summary, I would highly recommend the hotel. The breakfast was just right. No pancakes or waffles like you find at other places, but the grab and go essentials to get you right to the park.
Also, no pool. No big deal if you are going to the water park, but forgot to look before booking. It wasn’t missed, but figured I would mention. They did have a water bottle refill station next to the ice machine that was different. Cool to see. Stay...
