Manatee Landing Everyday Retreat — Hotel in Spring Hill

If you are looking for a hidden gem, look no further. We haven't had the pleasure of staying at the retreat yet, however we stopped there yesterday seeking a motel room and had the pleasure of meeting the owners.

This place is all about the vibes. In the ugly world we live in today, the power of positivity can go a long way. I would suggest you do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this experience. We are certainly looking forward to our time here.

Beyond meeting the amazing people, you will also find that you are located on one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the area. While the water is currently a redfish tint from all of the rain courtesy of hurricane Elsa, it typically boasts a crystal clear hue. I did not make any inquiries on usage details, but I did notice they maintained a supply of kayaks and other items to explore the area. This was the perfect get away for our family, the property has everything you can think of for a relaxing and fun riverside retreat. The hosts were amazing. The rooms were clean, cozy, and intimate. The suit had everything we needed and the kitchenette was a must have for traveling with a toddler. The outdoor space was so fun, we enjoyed lunch under the tiki hut, having a fire each night while playing corn hole and took the kayaks out during the day to see the manatees and the crystal clear waters of the river. It’s also located off the beaten path but within 10 minutes of the gulf, restaurants, and grocery stores. When we arrived, they were toasting marshmallows by the fire and we joined in as soon as we dropped our bags in the room. The room was creatively decorated and clean. The only thing you need to bring is some toiletries. Everything else is provided. A few gifts and goodies were on the kitchen table, that were extremely thoughtful. We grilled steak on Saturday night. Other guests brought out food and we all ate together. My kids loved the water and had a blast playing in the canal and kayaking! Only a few minute paddle to Hospital Hole and some great swimming spots. My family really had a wonderful time. The owners are both so welcoming and kind. We look forward to being RETREATS!
