The Perch Cabin — Hotel in Spruce Pine

Saw a photo on VRBO of the cabin, was a little blurry but caught my eye. Check out all the amenities. Cabin had everything anyone could ask for. On a mountain, deck 40 feet above the ground, again on a mountain, my watch said 3500 feet for the location. The drive is about 20 minutes from the valley then up this pretty single track private road which was fun to hike up. The cabin has a great hot tub, awesome deck with gorgeous breath taking view. The cabin itself has a really nice bedroom with comfy queen size bed. Large bathroom with washer dryer. Nice equipped kitchen and living room with stone fireplace. There are rocking chairs on the deck along with metal table and chairs, umbrella and chair pads. Bbque pit but get your charcoal at the Switzerland cafe generally stairs. In Spruce pine there is a Engels grocery, about 25 min drive, recommend that over wallymart, Rick the owner is available for any questions or suggestions for hiking, food etc. highly...

A very sweet and scenic place to have a vacation! Best for a couple, not for kids because of the cliffs around. The sun comes up right over the porch and the hot tub, I got a tan in November from all the sunshine! The owner is really nice and accommodating. Besides the hot tub, the fire place was our favorite feature and there is a huge mound of logs...

Fantastic mountainside cabin with great amenities including dishwasher, washer/dryer, WBFB, fully equipped kitchen. Convenient to Blue Ridge Parkway attractions and a pleasant drive to Asheville....
