Just checked out. I am VERY disappointed in the service, the house keeping, and breakfast. Someone else in my party had checked in for us. When I walked in at almost midnight, the man handed me a key for the room without any questions or proof of ID. I instantly felt unsafe knowing keys were just being handed out. To further that, the staff wasn't friendly. They offered no hospitality or even asked me once how my stay was going. I asked the staff working the desk questions and they offered me, "I'm not sure, but I think no" as an answer several times. There was no offer to find out. Several times they didnt even remove their earbuds when speaking to me. The house keeping refused to leave more than 2 towels and 2 wash clothes even though 4 people were listed on the amount of guests and they were asked for more. I left and empty bag on the bed and they refused to make the bed. Instead, they left a note saying it was policy. Now, some people may agree with that policy and in some situations I would agree. The bag was clearly empty. It could have been replaced after making the bed. To further the complaint on housekeeping, there was old popcorn and crumbs under the bed. It makes me wonder what other cleaning details were ignored. During breakfast, they were out of almost everything and said they didnt have the items to replace. I mean almost everything!! They were out of cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, butter, muffins, and biscuits. If they truly were out, a manager needs to re-evaluate how frequently things are ordered. Unacceptable for a Saturday and Sunday. Another gross thing about the breakfast was the milk was left out all morning. There was no ice or way of keeping it cold. When I walked up and felt it, it was room temperature.
Now, if I paid $200 for the hotel for 3 nights, I wouldn't bother writing this. The total was $443 for 3 nights. This is OUTRAGEOUS for terrible and rude service. This place would be worth it for $200 for 3 nights total. Anymore than that, you would be better off going...
Read moreOur vehicle broke down on the highway and police office stopped to check on us and gave us directions to the gas station/McDonalds that is next door to the hotel. It became clear that we’d be stranded here overnight so I called the hotel to make sure they had availability and allowed pets. I spoke with Cara who was very friendly and then walked over and booked a room, I was ready to pay much more because I was in a bind but the room was very inexpensive and the $25 pet fee (per night not per pet!) was very reasonable. Cara got us a room on the 1st floor and close to a side exit too thinking of the pets which was great. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom might be the cleanest I have ever seen and I travel for work and frequent Vegas and other “premium” locations. The next morning I needed to take our pups on a walk and across the street the schools have a loop you can make that’s 1-mile, the dogs were very happy to get some exercise. We went to go get coffee from the complimentary breakfast but was pleasantly surprised by the availability of food and options. I had avocado and egg toast, there was sugar free jelly and syrup, wheat and white toast, multiple beagles, two types of sausage, scrambled eggs, cereal, biscuits and gravy, and apples and clementines/oranges. I was floored with the options. We were in and out all morning calling for a tow truck and trying to secure a rental car. At some point our room keys stopped working and the house keeper happened to be right next to our room and helped us get in, I then went to the front desk to re-flash the keys and Emma was GREAT it became clear we’d need to extend our checkout and I did that online however I stopped back and spoke with Emma again who was very kind and understanding of the situation and offered to help in any way they can and suggested a towing company. We have been VERY happy with our impromptu stay here and wanted to make sure others know of the incredible value and...
Read moreFirst, kudos to Sandy, Trevor, and Amber. They were pleasant, helpful, and efficient. Their input towards my reservation had me liking this Days Inn before getting to my room. The room, a one King bed suite, was very clean and the bed/pillows comfortable. It was quiet. The wall mounted thermostat maintained the room temperature to my liking. Fridge and microwave both worked perfectly. Room had an iron and board, and a blow dryer. There was a flat screen T.V. in the sitting area and one in the bedroom. Cable T.V. Park for free. I cannot speak for the free breakfast because I slept in. The kitchen/dining area was immaculately clean on my inspection. Couple of recommendations: Put an alarm clock in the bedroom. Not a biggie considering that we all have cell phones. Add a small shampoo to the bathroom. My hair is short so the small bar soap worked for me. There was written notice in the room that if any toiletries were needed, the font desk would be happy to assist. This Days Inn is a minute from the highway exit. Very convenient. I have booked a second visit for my next trip as I was very pleased with the staff, location, cleanliness and value for my money at the Days Inn,...
