This location is on point. The rooms are clean and up-to-date. They offer free breakfast which has eggs, muffins, a meat, oatmeal, grits, waffles, cereal, fruit and jucies and coffee...well laid out. The only thing I would complain about is during the breakfast rush the morning I went down the head lady had the other lady mop before there was no spills I was watching and everybody was trying to get their food and the floor was super wet the other lady said something about it and the head lady said no they know what they're doing but customers shouldn't have to be walking around on a wet floor while trying to get their breakfast and slipping and sliding at the risk of falling that could have waited until the breakfast was over. But that was my only complaint and it is a logical one I believe. Now this place is simple there is no restaurant there is no bar but the eating area is a really nice atmosphere you could sit in non-breakfast hours and work on your laptop comfortably. Has a very nice indoor pool a decent enough gym a work room and meeting rooms. The night manager Cedric was great he was very personable and helpful. I like the decor theme of this property and it is refreshing. I love the size of the bathrooms and the modern walk-in shower. There are convenient ice machines and vending machines throughout the entire building. The customer service seems truly dedicated for the most part to making the customer happy I also want to shout out to Whitney for quick to help! Over all this Hampton is great! Oh and one more thing.....the last two Hilton Gardens properties I satyed in stank literally... ht this Hampton by Hilton smelled great everywhere I went!!!They seem to work well as a team and try to make you feel comfortable. UPDATE...today Cedric was as pleasant as always checking on me. Also a young lady saw me in the sitting area working on my computer and it was hard to focus with the tv so loud but she approached me and asked if I would like the tv turned down some so I could focus!!!I didn't even ask but wanted to.....I love it when people in hospitality are thoughtful and not just doing bare bones minimum!!! Shes a rock star....and guess what her name is...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel for a week while in town for work. Let me start by saying that the hotel itself is in fine condition. However, enough of the guests staying at this hotel are inconsiderate and made this stay unenjoyable. ||||Every single night, without fail, a group of about 15 Hispanic men would spend anywhere from 4-8 hours outside drinking, playing loud music, and eating. The music was loud enough that it kept me awake and vibrated through the walls. They also left their trash outside because I guess throwing it in the trash can 15 feet away was too bothersome (picture attached). Most of the guests at this hotel are construction/home building workers. ||||On one of my nights here, one of the guests was delusional, possibly from hallucinogens, and set off the fire alarms at 1130pm on a weeknight. The fire department dispatched 6 trucks and we evacuated the hotel. We were allowed back to our rooms sometime around 145am. I attached photos of this event. ||||Lastly, the hallways smelled like marijuana and it was obvious that multiple guests were smoking weed outside the hotel. At the 7-11 around the corner, you could see drugs being sold. ||||Everything else about the stay was unremarkable and on par with a mid grade hotel like a Holiday Inn, Marriott, or similar Hilton property.the breakfast was your typical packaged Hampton Inn fare, parking was sufficient, and the showers were hot. One other positive about this hotel is that it’s located across the street from a Starbucks Coffee. ||||If in the area again, I would absolutely NOT stay here again and do not recommend it. I have a follow up trip in a few weeks and have already booked an alternative property. The cost for one night in this hotel was around...
Read moreWe have been Priority Club (Holiday Inn) members for years (over 15) and always had some sort of issue of discomfort during the stay but we chalked it up to just hotel life. We called Holiday Inn next door to this one, and they were so short with me, I said I was never going back, so we called the Hampton. They are rather wealthy so I said we can't afford it, but I will call. The Hampton Government rate was actually cheaper than the Holiday Inn quoted me! Dee at the front desk made me feel welcome when I called, I could tell she was busy and also had a lobby full of people by the noise, but she made me feel very at ease. She also said they only had one king handicap accessible room left, and that was the only room in the whole facility for me, my wife and 3 kids but she said this room has more space available and there is a chaise lounge and enough room to bring in several roll away beds. So we did it. When we checked in she greeted me like she knew me forever. Kyle the housekeeping guy knew from my name that we would be needing the roll aways and had those ready to go, I wasn't an HHonors member yet, while he was getting me settled, Dee signed me up. The Room was very clean, Kyle noticed we would probably need sheets for the chaise, and made the roll aways for us, got us extra pillows without asking. He was very helpful and offered to help me bring in the luggage as well. My daughter has food allergies and we wiped down every surface of the hotel room with chlorox wipes and we couldn't visibly see any dirt.. THAT IS AWESOME. Breakfast was great, the breakfast staff made it very fun for my kids. Checkout was seamless and...
