Got the garden bar there and the food was pretty okay on the garden bar. Arrived at 2:30 p.m. on a Tuesday in the middle of the week which was after the lunch crowd and there was only a couple of customers in there that we're not even using the garden bar but they were every couple minutes bringing one item out to redo on the garden bar but even there whole entire Garden bar needed to be redone. On top of that I ordered a burger to take home to go for dinner and my burger was supposed to be just the bread meat and cheese burger cooked well done absolutely no pink with mayonnaise and lettuce on the side in a container so it would not soak into my bread because I like I said I was cooking it later for dinner. Got home with my burger to heat up for dinner last night and my burger had pickles tomatoes lettuce and onions soaked into the bun soggy almost all the way through and then I decided to cut the burger in half to see if at least the burger was cooked right and it was actually pink all the way through the burger so they had in fact not been cooked well done like I had asked three times to be sure before I left the place. And I was very dissatisfied with the situation when I found that out last night and I called and spoke with the manager last night and the manager tells me we can email you a voucher for your burger that you'll receive in possibly four to five business days. And I all I asked to do was have my burger redone correctly either come back and get it last night or come and pick it up today or within a day or two of my initial visit. The manager said they don't do that anymore that they only do email vouchers. And I said I'm not trying to do that so I asked to wait and speak to the general manager which comes in today and I was told I would receive a phone call by 3 p.m. today and it is currently 10 excuse me 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday so I am hoping to have this issue resolved and especially not have to deal with getting an email and print off a voucher to bring back into the store. That's just a whole lot of unnecessary mess to deal with so I was very upset with my visit with Ruby Tuesday's which is normally okay. But yesterday something was very severely off. The waitress and the other staff there was absolutely wonderful as far as in the restaurant dealing with customers but apparently the cooks need to be taught a little bit better about how to prepare their Foods correctly especially when they weren't even busy. Read moreThis was a Saturday evening and my family invited me to dinner and chose Ruby Tuesday 🥴. I had been to this particular location years ago and was not pleased at all. As a matter of fact I walked out before being served because it was not clean. I decided not be the squeaky wheel in the car and give them another chance. It was bad from beginning to end. The salad bar was poorly kept, not clean, food mixed together. We sat at the window which was a nice enough day for it but the chairs were loose and felt unstable, my family member had to exchange her chair a few times. Now the food we all had something different .. I ordered a steak medium well it was well done. It was really small, but you cant really argue the weight of a steak. The service was poor even though the restaurant was not packed. We had to ask for refills, they came after we had completed our meals. I never got my refill and was asked if I wanted my refill to go. I will not be returning to this location.Eventhough I was not paying, i can honestly say that experience was not worth 125.00 of my uncles money. The first thing you see when you come in is the salad bar it should be spectacular... For those reading the Ruby Tuesday on College Drive in Suffolk is really nice. Very different experience. And the salad bar is bright and fresh. And the management comes by to ask if everything was ok.
July 2022~ Call me crazy but I gave this restaurant another try.. It was another horrible experience. The lettuce on the salad bar was not clean. The management was in the kitchen cooking, the bar had numerous staffers hanging out. I'm watching the food coming out and just sitting there I asked for a strawberry tea, saw the guy make it and it sat at the counter for 10 minutes .. the waiter walked by and I asked for my beverage he brought me the one that had been sitting there needless to say I didn't want that switched it to a coke instead. Food came in a timely fashion but was not good at all.. my friend had ribs, they had no sauce and I had a steak it had no flavor taste like it was cooked with no salt or pepper just meat on a grill. Read moreI never leave reviews, ever. But after last night, I felt I had to let it be known. My husband and I have been going to Ruby Tuesday in general for years now, but this location- we haven't been to since the last bad experience a couple of months (nearing seven or eight) ago. Jocelyn made this, honestly hesitant at first, experience one to remember.
She was at the door with menus in hand, held it open for us, and greeted us with this brilliant smile (not one that looked forced or gave 'I just work here' vibes). She took us to our seats only for us to find out she was our waitress as well. We ended up getting a lot that she recommended (even though the mango lemonade was a bit too sweet at first), and she was so attentive. Getting us refills before we had to call her over, making sure our food tasted and was cook just right. And best off, she told us about the Rewards app no one else at the other locations did. We've spent so much at RT's and none of our other servers expressed that we could be essentially earning back from what we've spent.
I could go on and on, but I won't. I'm just saying, Jocelyn's bright personality, socks, and hair really captivated us from the beginning. And her absolutely amazing service will keep us coming back when we're in the area again.
PS. She told us don't get the corn and we regretted not listening. Even though she was quick to fix it, that corn is dry and very flavorless. I've tasted better...
