Favorite Campground in Oregon so far has to be Paulina Lake Campground. The views are incredible and the hot springs alone make the drive up to this gorgeous caldera worth it. 😍🌋🏕️🫶 #campinglife #oregoncamping #bestcampsite #pnwadventures #pnwlife #pnwonderland #pnwmom #momsoftiktok #sahmsoftiktok #breakinggenerationalcycles #makingmemories #paulinalake #hotsprings #centraloregon #fypシ #trending #viral #hikingtiktok #hikingwithkids #hikinginoregon #oregon #mexicantiktok #chicanatiktok #fam

We camped from 8/16-8/19 and I can't say enough positive things about this campground. We were at site 55 and it was situated in a perfect spot. Far enough from the bathrooms to be comfortable walking there in the dark and close enough to the fresh water supply to be useful in every day adventuring. The campsight was full the first night we arrived and we got the last reservation, but it wasnt overly loud, or quiet. It felt almost like summer camp. The campsite is situated in a cove on paulina lake, from that cove tou can't see the newberry volcanic cone which has split this once connected lake in two, but you can see it in its entirety just a short distance away, around paulina lakeside trail. The sight is astounding. There are so many things to do here, we have only done about a quarter of them and we can't wait to go back and do more. <3

We had a memorable trip to Paulina lake camp ground! Although the service was spotty, we were able to reset and unplug for the weekend! It was a beautiful area and nice and clean for our trip!

These campsites were huge! I went with a group of people, and so reserved two sites so we could have space.... I need not have! We could have easily fit four tents on one campsite. Unfortunately, we would have had a problem with the extra vehicles, so it all worked out to have the two.

The facilities were very well maintained, I believe Judy was our Camp Hostess. I'm not sure if she was directly responsible, but the bathrooms were always stocked with TP (though it is the super thin 1-ply- bring your own, if you're sensitive!). No showers at this campground, be warned. Plenty of access to water for cooking and cleaning. Not sure how it tasted, as I brought my own.

The only complaint I had was that the "dish water drain" located near the bathroom was backed up. Not sure what can actually be done about it, I'm sure lots of people abuse it and don't strain their water. We used minimal soap and strained and scattered our water throughout the campsite and trees.

Beware the chipmunks! They are voracious! This shouldn't need to be said, but DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE. They went for anything and everything that got left out- whether or not it was edible! Twice they made off with my silicon spatula and had a nice chew. They stole it from my table, dragged it away, and chewed on it. And we are not messy campers- and I was watching the table the whole time! They simply have no fear of humans. Do them a favor and break the dependancy. Don't encourage them. Watch from afar, and pack up your food AND gear, immediately after using!

We had a great time at Paulina Lake. I will camp here again, if given the chance, as it was spacious and clean, with...

Let me start with, we have camped up here for the last 4 years and it has been awesome. Ken and his wife the camp host was phenomenal, but Ken is not the campground host anymore, BEWARE!!! Ken was a retired police officer who knew what you could and couldn't do with a campground. Apparently the new camp host doesn't know that. When I first pulled up they jump like out of the bushes and were like can we help you I didn't even know who they were at first. After we got the trailer all settled they started banging on the back of my trailer at 10:00 at night about how we didn't pay for an extra car. After my wife produced a receipt and we argued a little bit, the one decided that we did pay the other one said we didn't pay and they went back and forth like that for about 5 minutes. Something I think we could have figured out in the morning but the one was so lit on her own moonshine that she makes they wouldn't stop they just kept going and going. Maybe when the forest service hires people they should inform them not to be intoxicated when they deal with the public. Anyway we got harassed so much because we were actually next to the camp host , we were watched with binoculars we were told our fire was too high we were told our friends couldn't Park in the parking lot to go kayaking it went on and on. Anyway don't camp here until these people are gone .please bring back Ken and his wife!!!! Bottom line is they made our camping trip horrible in the forest service really owes me all of my camping...
