Villa Inn by Temecula Inns — Hotel in Temecula

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Inn. The grounds were beautiful and we loved the view and location. Pool area was great and hope to come back to use the pool. The rooms were also beautiful and we were impressed with the decor. I am giving it a 4 star because of some of the items we did not have in the room. We had no hangers. I asked for some and never got any. I borrowed some from my Mother in law who was also staying at the hotel, but overall we both didn't have enough and had to lay clothes on chairs. Disappointing since i was told they would bring some. There were also no hand towels in either room, there were only wash clothes and bath towels. There were paper towels but that really is not the same. And the window coverings although attractive, did nothing to keep out light. The skylight and windows let in so much light it was as bright in the room as it was outside once the sun came up. So no sleeping in. There were other little things missing, like the slippers they mention on their site. Overall it was a good stay, we would recommend it and stay again. I just wish there was someone on site now and again to speak to. We saw nobody the whole time we were there. It is more like staying at an Airbnb...

This place is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are fabulous! The location is wonderful and it is quiet. You really don’t hear neighbors and the pool area is always empty.

My issue with our stay was that the manager at the front desk was not very friendly. I had to call a couple times with questions and she came off quite impatient and irritable. The breakfast was really subpar and a disappointment considering how much we paid. She said it was a continental breakfast and in my experience that usually means croissants, assorted fruit, muffins, etc. Instead, we got some wonder bread, peanut butter, yogurt, and some unripe fruit. Additionally, it was stated that our checkout time was 11. Around 10, my boyfriend and I were having an intimate moment and the lady who cleans was knocking on our door and we tried to tell her we’re in the there but I guess she didn’t hear and came in anyway. Luckily she didn’t see us but it felt uncomfortable. Then, she came back again like 30 minutes later to knock again. It felt like we were being rushed out of there.

My hubby and I stayed here for a one night getaway and were happy with the villa. It’s so adorable! The pics are an accurate representation of the property but I didn’t realize that it’s sort of a small family owned property that’s been converted to a few units. I believe the owner lives on or near the property so they can take care of any needs you may have. No biggie but if you’re looking for more of a hotel atmosphere with a restaurant/bar or gym etc, this would not fit the bill. Things were very clean, we felt safe and it was incredibly peaceful. All the basics you’d need are there and then some. It’s advertised as adults only so my hubby had quite a laugh teasing me that I’d booked us at a nudist resort lol. I can attest that it is truly just a child free zone, nothing more. It is pretty tucked away location wise, so it’ll be a little drive to get to any restaurants or businesses. My only complaint would be the bed. If you’ve got a back problem it might not be a comfortable sleep for you. Overall we were satisfied and...
