We are winery members and have been here a few times. We never had an issue until today! It was nine of us so we understood the service and food being slow, two of us wanted their ceviche and were told they run out even though it is in their menu so we order their tai chicken salad with bread and when we finally got our food, that's when everything went downhill. The salads had barely any dressing and the chicken was very dry so we ordered extra dressing just to be told they run out of dressing and they wouldn't complement the salads because they served them with the amount of dressing they always serve. This upset us because no one was asking for any complements we just wanted more salad dressing because the salads were dry! We demanded to speak to the manager and he came with a condescending attitude defending their stance. My sister told him to tell the chef to eat the salad to see if he thought it was edible. My brother told him an easy recipe for tai dressing with very little ingredients and asked why can't they just make more? I told him we were members and have been there many times and this was the first time we were treated like this to which he just shrugged his shoulders and made a "so what!?" expression. He made us feel unimportant with his condescending attitude. We cancelled our membership and will make sure no one we know will go eat there. I don't remember the manager's name but this happened today 08/19/24 at 1:45pm. I hope the owners read this and give this manager training on customer service in the food service and hospitality industry. In my humble opinion this restaurant is overrated and over priced and their 3.4 rating from all the low rating reviews they have don't surprise me. Perhaps the owners may consider overhauling their...
Read moreBased on my recent experience, I would not recommend visiting Leoness for their restaurant. Additionally, their policy of restricting patio dining to members only was quite off-putting. On Saturday, June 22, my husband and I decided to have a late lunch at Leoness Cellars, after not visiting for a few years. We began with a glass of wine in the tasting room before inquiring about seating at the restaurant, as we were unable to dine on their patio. The initial hostess assured us there was no wait. However, when we returned about 15 minutes later, a different hostess informed us that the restaurant does not seat guests between 3:00pm and 3:30pm to transition from lunch to dinner service. This policy came as a surprise to us, as it had not been mentioned earlier and is not noted on their website. The new hostess was notably rude and unhelpful, which left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Consequently, we chose to leave and have decided against returning to the restaurant...
Read moreBeen a member at Leoness for years and today was the worst experience I’ve had with my family. The waitress (Female) Took our order and everything started out right. She messed up the order and brought up the wrong food twice and then pretty much told us that we ordered the meal even tho we never even mentioned the meal she brought out. I confronted her because my wife wouldn’t and she gave me tone. The manager came out to make things right but overall I was really disappointed. I love this winery and always go there on the weekends ( reason why I got the membership) I’ve changed my mind and will cancel my membership because that’s just not the type of service I expect from a winery that charges a premium to be a member. Leoness lost a good Client today. All these years I’ve never complained but this was a very...
