Cave Cafe provided us one memorable lunch today- top notch food, impeccable service, & mesmerizing views! We started with the Cheese Pull Bread. This is a hefty loaf of perfectly-baked Artisan Sourdough Bread. The ultra-crispy crust is covered in a delicious mozzarella cheese, & surrounded on the plate by a just-right marinara sauce, (not to sweet, not too garlicky) to dunk this pre-sliced bread in. We also split the Braised Beef Short Ribs, with Mashed Potatoes & Asparagus. OMG...this was sensational! It was a HUGE short rib, boneless, meaty, & hardly any fat on it, cooked to tender perfection, covered in a beef demi-glaze, accompanied with an nice-sized serving of creamy mashed potatoes, as well as 3 asparagus spears, which were cooked just the way I like them, tender, & buttery-tasting. While at a winery, it's only proper etiquette to drink the wine, so that we did. I enjoyed a glass of their 2017 Syrah, & my wife drank a glass of their Raspberry Sparkling Wine. Our server, Marcus, provided us with exceptional service, while we dined on their lovely outdoor patio. From our table, we enjoyed an amazing view of Oak Mountain Winery's bright green grape vines, which were just across the narrow driveway from our table. There were also nice views of the surrounding vineyards & mountains in the distance. I would remiss, if I didn't mention the overhead mist system, above Cave Cafe's large patio. This fine mist makes it more enjoyable on some of those warmer summer days. Great food, enjoyable wines, awesome service & splendid scenery. Who could ask for anything more?

We had a phenomenal experience in the outdoor seating. Beautiful and relaxed setting where depending on where you are seated, you will get a little view of vines and the fields. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient friendly, and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend the winery and café for celebrations, small groups, and couples wanting a nice casual dinning experience outdoors. All of the food for all in my party looked suburb and from the smiles, tasted as well. I can speak for the Chimichurri Fries! Spectacular. The flavor of the meat, the crispy outside and soft inside fries with the seasoning, then the chimichurri sauce poured over with queso fresco. Divine. It's a large appetizer that could easily be a meal or shared plate. I had that as my main with the summer beet salad. Salad was delicious, the sliced peaches and yellow beats were crisp and flavorful. My only dislike, despite how much I love cheese and feta specifically, is that the whipped feta could be a bit less. The whipped feta was delicious, but the vegetables sat on a large bed of it. For dessert we had the puff pastry with fresh berries and it was light, delicious, and freshing with the blueberry cream cheese filling. My parents had the mousse trio and said they were excellent. Can't wait to return, try other dishes, and experience the more formal indoor dining inside the cave.

I took my mom here for an early Mother’s Day gift on 5/3 around noon. The outside of the property is extremely pleasant. They have heater lamps/fire pits to keep outside customers warm. The parking is somewhat limited, so get there early. When we got into the restaurant they have a sign that says something along the lines of, “please wait to be seated”. We waited a few minutes before a gentleman arrived & apologized for the wait. Please be aware it is very cold in the restaurant, so dress warm. We waited at least 15-20min before we were served water…ridiculous. It took that same time to be greeted by our waitress. I was pretty disappointed with the service considering the reputation of this establishment has. There was also trash on the floor. It is very low light, so I am guessing staff was unaware. We also had to ask 3x for a new table light because ours was so dark. The food really good aside from some order errors. My mom asked for a medium rare steak & it was tough. For $50 I expect the steak to be cooked somewhat close to what the customer requested if not exactly what they asked for. Also, I ordered a blonde ale and the beer was semi warm ?? I should have requested a new one, but I didn’t speak up. Overall I was disappointed with my experience & won’t be returning. Please work on customer service.

This is absolutely my favorite vine in Temecula. Every time we go, we have to go here. We have a flight and have a late lunch early dinner. The food is always incredible way, beyond what you would expect coming from a cave, lol.. Love the view, the cave, the vines are perfect. We also love the people that work there.

6 months ago. I loved this place. It was funtastic, The view from up there was incredible.

We got to enjoy a wine flight, charcuterie board, some appetizers, and some entrées.

It’s dog friendly and they even have a dog dish that you could order for your dog for lunch or dinner, it consisted of bowtie pasta with chicken breast. I even liked it.

I was able to go behind the scenes, behind the gate to go look at their wine cave. It was great it was all decorated for holidays. It would be a excellent place to have a party.

Cave Cafe was wonderful and I WOULD recommend you checking this place out. The people that work there the staff, every single person we met were very friendly.

Alex greeted us in a very refreshing manner, he’s great. He was also our waiter. Rony, the event manager was great, she gave me a little tour because I have never been there before. Mike stoped by to say hello and helped clear vine glasses and finished plates.

We ordered their red vine flight. We loved the flight vine stand. We ordered the charcuterie board (a meal by itself). Mushroom pasta, the braised pork chop with vegetables (fantastic), and,

DOG friendly. They had a special meal that you can purchase for your dog that consisted of chunks of chicken breast and bowtie pasta. Our little girl love here meal! That was special.

The owner was great and also has this fundraising thing going on that all proceeds of this particular item goes to senior animals.

I LOVE THIS PLACE And I WOULD go back. I think next time I would like to do...
