I can’t say enough about this place if you need to get away and stay someplace away from your home.. This is a home away from home. Everyone is so hospitable.. They are pleasant everybody in the office always greets you with a smile. I love everyone in that office.. My plan was to stay here a few months and I’m at almost a few years.. They feel like family to me. I love them so much if you’re looking for a place to stay, you need to stop looking and come here… We are A family.. If I was to write about them"It would take forever.. Just stop by and take a look. You’ll see what I mean.. Especially Mitch the manager.. I can’t say enough about him. He will go out of his way for anyone.. He’s a hard worker. A man that would give up anything to make sure This hotel‘s run properly. He Always talks to you with respect and he will go out of his way to make sure you’re happy.. I met him a few years ago and felt like I’ve known him all my life.. He’s s as genuine as you can get, he’s not here to rip you off , he’s here to make you happy and comfortable.. And as far as some of the bad reviews, you need to ignore them because there’s a reason why they write bad reviews….. It’s not anything This hotel management did but something they did. Read moreExtremely unhappy. I booked a 2 bedroom room in January for May 16-18. When we arrived I was told that the room wasn't available bc long term stays had decided to stay longer that I would be given 2 studios. Here in lies the problem..... I had 2 bedrooms together bc I have an autistic son who was traveling with us. So now my husband and I had to split up and have each of us stay separately. This was a major inconvenience for us and a terrible start to our stay. Upon entering the first room, I immediately turned back around and requested a different room. It smelled moldy and wet. I was told again they were sold out and only had one other room which was now on a different floor than my second room. The second room also has a tub handle that basically you have to be a magician to get it to turn off! Then after a long day Friday, we returned after 8pm to find one set of keys to the rooms was not working. We had to wait about 20 min for someone to come let us in. We were told she would be right back with new keys and never came back. Have 2 studios left our family no where to eat together or spend time together bc we lacked an eating area and a Livingroom. I find it atrocious that we were not contacted as soon as they knew the room wouldn't be available as we were left with no choice upon arrival. We also feel that having a reservation since January would have given us preference and the other guest should have been told they could not extend their stay. Read moreI have stayed here previously and enjoyed it. However, my most recent experience was AWFUL. I was an hour away, (after driving 10hrs with kids) from the hotel when they called and cancelled my booking due to flooding in my room. I was told to find an alternate location and they would pay for it. I asked for the person to help me since I was driving and she said she couldn’t - too busy. Two staff members were supposed to email me the manager’s contact info and receipts, neither did. I was told to call on Monday. When I called to speak with the manager, I was stuck speaking with the front desk person, who was relaying messages from the manager because he/she was “too busy” to speak with me directly. When I asked how my other credit card, which was used for the other hotel, would be reimbursed, I was told that it was an accounting question and she wasn’t an accountant. So I explained to her that was the reason I needed to speak with the manager and she told me again that the manager was too busy and to email them my questions, then hung up. When I tried immediately calling back, there was no answer. The professionalism of the staff requires serious retraining, especially when you’re dealing with people’s money. I have yet to receive an actual receipt of my refund for the room at this hotel nor an answer regarding the second one. I’m currently out $750CA for one booking gone terribly wrong.
