It did not live up the reviews. It changed ownership in May. We stayed in the Unit just behind the office, #12. It is different than the rest. The floors are significantly sloped in the kitchen and bathroom. The carpet on the steps and upstairs has seen better days. The kitchen had very little in amenities. No blender, very few pieces of flatware, very few glasses, etc. Staff did a poor job cleaning up in the public areas. Trash on the beach and at the fire pits every day. On the upside, our unit was clean and the lake was wonderful.

I have been coming to the Juliana since my youngest son was born. He is 28 now. We always had lots of fun. It is on a lovely property. We had a hiatus for a few years, and then decided to return , knowing that there were new owners. We came with two of our adult children, son in law and grandchildren. We love the beautiful shoreline, and there are “ free” paddle boards and kayaks to take out on the lake. We loved the fire pits and roasted marshmallows., played games, and barbecued on the provided propane grills. Because of Covid, housekeeping services were limited to drop off of clean towels, three times during the week, and garbage pick up, if you placed the bag outside the door of your room. There were no inside room services. Our only disappointment was actually the quality of the rooms. I would say that the room my husband and I stayed in, was shabby at best. Furniture was worn, floors were cracked, I could not close the door to the shower very easily. Very small rooms.appliances were the cheapest the place could buy. Pots had no lids, and there were no mixing bowls, so I had to make pancake batter in a cooking pot. There was one noisy air conditioner in the back bedroom. In order to cool the place, we had to leave the bedroom door opened, so no privacy at night. We also noticed that the stacked dishes were not very clean. I washed everything on arrival. That is, the dishes I could reach. In #19, the cabinet is very high.so we bought paper plates. My daughter rented a larger, two bedroom, apartment, which was newer and nicer, #12. But even they felt they had to buy a swifter and clean the floors on arrival. There is new management and they charge a good amount for the rooms, my daughter paid over $400 a night. I certainly hope that there is a plan to upgrade the environment, as I have great memories...

I have been coming here for 9 years when Eric was the owner. The Juliana was kept pristine and had a true family feel. Since being sold to the new owners who also owns Scotty’s hotel in Lake George village, little by little it’s falling apart. For example, no one cleans up around the fire pit, no one rakes the beach anymore. My daughter stepped in a piece of glass near the fire pit because it’s not being cleaned up in the morning anymore The BBQ for my room on my deck you have to risk your life to light, rather than spend a few bucks to replace a battery. They are greasy and dirty like they were never cleaned. It’s not the same intimate owner operated feeling it just feels like a large corporation run hotel. They used to have 2 beautiful waterfalls, which have not been working since the new owners took control. I give this place another few years, but slowly the loyal guests that return year after year will look for other places to stay from what I’m hearing. The feel that we once had they you were a valued guest us no longer here. Every year the hotel was filled with regulars, everyone knew each other and you didn’t have to lock your door but now it seems they are renting more of there rooms by the day rather...

The “resort” as it’s called it’s an over priced, outdated, inflexible dirty place. The worse part is a week here cost us $1200, Juliana doesn’t provide you with a basic item as a beach towel that you would expect to find in a vacation resort. You will find an old dryer but if you need to do laundry you’ll have to find a laundromat because the place doesn’t count with that service. Some of the “share areas” for the rooms as are the kitchen don’t count with doors so if you’re sharing the kitchen with another couple or just someone you definitely won’t have privacy. Also, don’t forget to pack your own coffee and coffee filters because even something as basic as that in the hospitality business isn’t provide by Juliana Resort. Our bathroom besides having the littlest shower where my cousins could barely fit was dirty at the time of our arrival. The rooms smell dusty and old, doing modifications to the reservation or even cancel it is a nightmare! Their costumer service is rude and inflexible, I won’t recommended anyone this place, my family and I had a terrible experience and we ended up going because we couldn’t cancel our reservation. There’s many other places you can find for that amount of money that actually...
