DON'T STAY HERE! When we arrived shortly before midnight, all of the parking spots directly in front of the building were full, including the handicap spots (I am disabled and have a handicap placard.) Because of this, we parked about 15 feet from the right front corner of the hotel building in a marked parking spot. We checked in and upon entering our room I found hair on the bathroom counter and in the tub and the floor didn't look like it had been cleaned. This place is older and it shows. We were only staying one night, it was late, and the bed was comfortable enough so it was sufficient. In the morning we had the complimentary breakfast bagels which were OK. After checking out we left only to discover that our car was missing from the parking lot. OUR CAR HAD BEEN TOWED! We returned to the hotel reception desk and the attendant said, "Oh, you were towed too? You're the second one this morning. It happens all the time." She called the tow company and we could overhear the guy on the other end laughing and he said, "you got another customer for us!" The hotel management knows this is happening regularly and THEY DON'T CARE! The only posted signs say "illegally parked cars will be towed." As a hotel guest we should be authorized, not illegally parked! Then we had to find our own transportation to the tow lot 15 minutes away, only to find no one there. We had to call the tow guy again ourselves and wait another 40 minutes for him to show up. He required that we pay him $243 CASH to get our car back. (conveniently there's an ATM across the street) They had my car parked inside the locked building. |I've contacted Hilton and HILTON IS DOING NOTHING TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING! They pass the buck saying it's up to the hotel management. |I find it very suspicious that they don't warn or tell guests not to park on the side of the hotel and we have to pay cash to release our vehicle. Sounds like there's a nice side hustle in place for the hotel. |I'm attaching photos showing where we were parked relative to the hotel. Just at the corner of the building where I've drawn a blue rectangle. The arrow points to the hotel front entrance just steps away. The posted sign is directly in front of the hotel in the middle of the parking lot and an identical sign is on the side of...
Read moreI typically never give a one star review but this issue needs to addressed. Rented a room for 165.00. We chose Hilton because they are typically the best and cleanist.
We found major issues the morning of our check out bc we had a late arrival and went to sleep briefly after arriving. We were told that there would be some type of compensation fot the condition of the room. There was black mold from a leak all over the window sill and it had also seeped into the floor and carpet. Bandaid on the smoke detectors. Dust and spiders in all the places like behind the bed desk and corners of the room. The wall was bowed out due to the leak. I felt nausous while I was there and am extremely sensitive to mold. Go figure.
Sara the manager acted concerned while talking to my guest who came with me, they said they would do some thing and that it was unnacceptable but since then we have been pushed off and ignored. Sara the manager has avoided us lied about what she would do and didn't even put in a request to have the room maintenemed. Rochelle was the one to put in the notes all the actual issues, but she acted as if we were an inconvenence to her. She then told me we weren't going to get a refund! wow how would she know or be able to decide that w very little inisght at that point.
ON TOP OF IT ALL.
We were charged twice for incidentals on the night of our arrival and are still trying to reach someone to help us verify this w the credit card company. As a local guide and business owner, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of comsideration from management and the rooms condition. I would avoid this hotel entirely. I will add all the photos of the room to support this if we are not fairly...
Read moreWheelchair-accessible room with a king sized bed and bathtub was okay. I stayed in room 110. ||Pros:|-free breakfast |-free parking|-friendly front desk and housekeeping staff|-comfortable bed|-can stream Netflix on the television|-mini fridge|-enough room to maneuver a wheelchair in the bathroom||Cons (some specific to wheelchair users):|-There wasn't much space to maneuver a wheelchair in the room. |-The clearance under the sink is too low for a wheelchair user to be able to get close to it facing forward. |-When you turn the bathroom light on, the vent comes on, and it's LOUD.|-When I got there, it smelled awful. The source was the shower curtain, so I ended up taking it down and putting it in the hallway. Housekeeping brought a different shower curtain. The smell lingered, to the point that I ended up buying air freshener spray and a scented wall plug in, which helped a lot.|-I had trouble sleeping on some of the nights I was there because people kept opening and closing their doors, and it was really loud.|-As others have said, there were pretty limited breakfast options. I ended up buying stuff from the grocery store because I was there multiple days.|-No microwave in the room (though there is one in the lobby)||I was worried about staying here after reading reviews that mentioned the elevator. I called ahead of time and found out that the wheelchair-accessible rooms are on the first floor. Laundry is on the second floor though.||Overall, I thought this hotel was okay. It felt like a budget Hilton to me. The location was close enough to downtown that it worked out for me to drive there every day I was in town. It's a 7-minute drive to...
