Brandanis Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Brighton

As a pizza lover, we’re always scouting for new pizza places in the area. After doing some research and reading some reviews we were excited to try Brandani’s. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:20pm on Sunday and we were aware of their closing at 7pm. We tried to order a large pizza. We were told by the young lady that she was not taking any more others. Her words…She couldn’t do it since they were about to close. I inquired further verifying that they’re not taking any more orders 40 minutes prior to closing. At which point she looks at the clock and says, well what can I get for you? Uhmmm, no thank you! We understand customer service. This young lady clearly wasn’t interested in helping us. We also understand policies. There were no signs or communication online about time of last order. If this is a “policy” then please just communicate such and lock the doors. It didn’t appear that this was a policy but this young lady clearly didn’t want to help us and was ready to go home. We were disappointed but took our business elsewhere. We can only hope that the pizza is as good as we read in lieu of this unpleasant...

My family and I visit Brandani's on a routine basis, heck I grew up with them before they moved to Henrietta from the old Irondequoit location. One thing sticks out, is that it is pizza done right. We usually get a Large thick crust cheese and bacon pizza and a cheese and peperoni pizza (extra well done) and the kids love it. Great ingredients, great sauce and phenomenal dough just make a quality product. Then again that is what happens when you have some place that's been around that long. Go get yourself a slice you will be glad you did, they usually have a variety made for those who want a quick slice and after its warmed back up in the oven the cheese and sauce just get all happy again and it just melts in you mouth... I always remember the old style pizza box when I was a kid saying "you've tried the rest, now try the best.." well I've had pizza all over town, in fact my wife laughs at how far out of my way I will go for something I like.. The food here is mediocre, if you ever get it. The service from here is terrible. I once ordered a pizza for a party from here, a large sheet pizza and some drinks, however an hour after ordering when I called them they said the order hadnt been put In yet because aparently the person that put my order schediled it for later in the night even though I specifically ordered asap. Also be wary of ordering online, after making my order online and paying with card, I waited 45 minutes... And nothing. So I called and asked when the estimated delivery time was, and they told me the order never went through, even though the money was taken from my account.
