Room: the pictures will speak for themselves. I’ve never been in a dirtier room where i absolutely could not walk on the floor without shoes. We also found remnants of probable drug activity between the bathroom sink and toilet. This was truly the dealbreaker for me. If I wasn’t with my husband, I wouldn’t have felt safe. With other hotels booked solid, it’s no wonder we got in here and it was sparsely populated. Service: AJ was kind and pleasant if we’re talking about “customer” service. But if we’re talking about servicing the rooms for customers, I can’t promote this. Positive: the sheets and towels appeared and smelled clean. There was also a coffee pot, but I wasn’t comfortable using the sink in our room for drinking water or our coffee. Location: perfect in regard to convenience to West Point. The price we paid ($365 two nights) was a poor excuse to not make sure this place was manicured and cleaned from the potholed parking lot, to the gaps in the doors and fixtures in the rooms, to the genuine lack of cleanliness. And the annoying noise of grocery carts going over gravel in the parking lot, as this was how they transported supplies around the vicinity.

We booked a room and got there late because we attended an event. We called the hotel before arriving and spoke to a customer service representative who was very unprofessional and rude. He told me that my reservation was canceled without even taking my information, I guess I must have woke him up. This place was a complete hole in the wall literally. Horrible location, filthy, location looks sketchy and the door looked as if it was previously kicked off, the top closes and the bottom stays open. A curtain is being used to block the huge window by the door and it allows anyone who is passing by to see inside. Bottom line is customer service was horrible, place was filthy and doesn't feel secure. It cost me about $170 which I felt was very steep for what we received. Under no circumstances would I ever return to a place like this again. Almost forgot there was a weird guy who was outside the entire time.

Don’t let the cute and clever sign fool you this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The first room we got that was so gross I realized the door did not lock so they moved us to a new room that was even worse. The place smelled like old cigarettes and it was so gross I didn’t want to touch anything. There were spiders in the corners along side the mold and water stains. The bathtub and shower were so gross that I felt even more dirty after taking a shower. The walls looked like there were rubbed down with mud. The beds are short and your feet hang off and it’s hard as a rock! The blinds were falling apart and the curtains looked like they have never been cleaned in 50 years. You should avoid this place for your own health and safety. It needs to be inspected and I am sure it would get shut down.

NEVER EVER, I REPEAT, NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL! DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THEY WILL TAKE IT AND RUN. The staff here are terrible. I have never written a review and I am certainly not one to complain, but after this past experience i need to warn others. My boyfriend attends west point, so I have stayed at this hotel at least once a week for the past 2 or so years. I have always been a loyal and repeating customer to them. I have poured hundreds and hundreds into this company, only to get screwed over. For my stay of presidents day weekend 2019, i had "reserved" a room for 2 nights. I tried cancelling this stay in advance but the fairbridge inn Expedia site was not responding or working. I tried to cancel and thought i had but apparently it did not respond on the hotel's part. I noticed my bank account was charged an absurd amount of money, and later realized it was charged from this hotel. I immediately call them and they tell me that their "Expedia and fairbridge inn" website is down and told me to call expedia. I called expedia and got no where with that conversation. The hotel thinks it is okay to charge a loyal customer hundreds of dollars for a hotel room I never even got to stay in. They will not refund me that money at all. This is THEFT. They are taking my own money for profit when I have received NOR WILL receive anything out of it. The website being down was not my fault but i am taking the consequences of it. The staff was very rude. DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THEY WILL...

Do not recommend! This was our second time staying there. The first time was OK, clean enough, weird smells, but close to West Point which is what we needed. We had horrible rain storms that night and roof leaked all over our personal belongings. Owner was very rude the next morning that I had the audacity to complain. |Against better judgement, and after being reassured the roof was fixed, stayed a second time, again due to availability and location. Owner was so rude when I checked in as he changed our side by side rooms saying one room was "sub par" and then ended up moving us back to it, and when i said I didnt want a bad room he raised his voice at me that i was too needy??? I'd have walked out if i hadnt already paid and it was past cancelation or if i thought i could find a room anywhere else for A Day weekend. |This time, the room was FILTHY, hair every where, fresh gross stains on comforter, no towels, and a roach fell on me while I was in the bathroom! And the smell was terrible, a/c stunk and couldn't keep up with the room size. All in all, horrible experience. Don't be tempted by the " lower prices" it's worth it. You can get cheaper and nicer in Newburgh for a 15 min drive, or just about anywhere really. |Oh, side note, walls are so thin, the guys next to us were puking at 1am and it was so pleasant to be woken up to their...
