Went into the Lyons NY Store. Purchased a new couch and recliner for my home but due to stock issues, had to be ordered from manufacturer. Delivery was never completed to my home and before an appointment was officially made, went into store and spoke to the manager and origainal sales rep. Informed them that I can no longer take the furniture I ordered and requested a cancellation and full refund. Had to cancel to unexpected circumstances and just needed my money back since I never technically received the furniture. Receipt or website do not list a policy for canceled orders where refund is not available, only store credit. Refused to return payment to my original payment method and though I did not sign any thing or received documentation stating a supposed return or cancellation policy where only store credit is available. Extremely unprofessional and as someone who works on sales and tends to work with my customers to reach an agreed upon solution, this could have been handled better. Do not plan on returning to store or plan to patronize in the future and recommend others to avoid as well. Clearly did not want to lose sale even though it was likely they could return furniture to manufacturer or resold to another interested customer. Read moreI ordered a hybrid mattress in April and gave half down as deposit since it had to be ordered bc of COVID, they gave me an eta for the middle of May…. They said they would keep me updated… well that NEVER happened and EVERY TIME I would call they would ask for my number and say they will call me back with info, NEVER got a call! Almost 4 months later I called and my mattress was at their warehouse and would call us to let us know when it arrived at their store AGAIN, NO CALL so my husband ended up going to the store paid off the rest that was owed and HE HAD TO GO TO THE WAREHOUSE HIMSELF TO GET THE MATTRESS. Read moreAfter shopping at all the big stores in Monroe County and finding out that they were deceptive about inventory, price and continually tried to upsell me on furniture I didn't want I decided to try loves Furniture in Newark. At this point I was really looking for solid customer service and truthfulness and loves and specifically Rebecca was just sensational! After shopping there for a couple of hours picking out the furniture that best suited me I purchased the furniture on the spot. They were tremendous in that I need a specific delivery date due to a move and they made it happen, it was all within 2 weeks of the purchase. When their delivery Personnel were scheduled off that day Rebecca and her husband delivered it personally and yes up two flights of stairs to an upstairs apartment without batting an eye!
