Sunset Park Motel of Tupper Lake — Hotel in Town of Tupper Lake

We stayed here because my partner was out of town for work. It’s centrally located, 10 minute or so walk in either direction to restaurants, the grocery store, and other shops. With a gorgeous view of the lake and it’s very quiet. The room was very clean and well maintained, like they have freshly painted it in the last year or so. The room also process a newer microwave, mini fridge, and coffee pot and amenities. The room boasted a huge tv with cable and you can login to your streaming accounts if needed. The bathroom had new shower heads and valves, and a newer vanity. The flooring, area rug, and bed frame all look to be new as well. It has been very well maintained. The staff was friendly as well! There is information about your stay clearly posted in the room for your reference. The only downside was the WiFi connection was not the greatest, it shows up but the signal was not great. We picked this motel because of its location. We didn't have much thought about it, but all reviews said it was clean, our priority. Wow, were we pleased with our choice. |Anna was very accommodating for us with an early check-in . The motel is an older motel but kept up very well. The room I loved! It has a screen door, large windows facing the front and the lake! Beautiful views. It has all the amenities you need. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. We found that Anna was a newer owner, and she has done a lot of updates, and the rooms are very clean.||The property is perfect. You can almost touch the water from your room. Horrible ethics from management. I made a reservation and provided my credit card information over the phone only to receive a phone call while i was already half way to tupper lake for my vacation to receive a voicemail saying that sunset park is canceling my reservation because someone else showed up and is there with money now. The man then tried to say that it is my fault and that he does not care what i do and that i will need to find another hotel and that there is no place for me at Sunset Park Motel. I would like to thank you for leaving me stranded without a place to sleep after being guaranteed a room and taking down my credit card information.
