Last night my family and I decided to stop in at Little Italy before a 3 hour trip home and had been starving. We picked a back booth and it was pretty chilly so one staff member said we could close the window so that I wouldn't be in the direct wind nor continue to be cold. So we did. My blood sugar was pretty low (I was starting to crash pretty good) and the wind kept blowing my hair pretty good too. Our server (different woman) finally showed up and opened the window saying I cant close it because something burned in the back. Mind you thats allll the way in the opposite direction and we didn't smell any burning. After waiting a 20 minutes we finally got to order and when the food arrived I was told I should share my salad I had ordered for myself as dinner with my husband and daughter and gave me 3 extra plates... They ordered Calzones and I got the salad because I have high blood pressure. She said it was large so she thinks I should do that. (I'm only 119 pounds) I also ordered a chicken salad and got lunch meat and a sandwich slice of cheese cut up in tiny tiny squares. It was gross. We spent about $40. So I gave my husband $60 since they only take cash. Well, I was forced to pay 18 percent gratuity and only got 8 bucks back. Had a bad experience and left feeling hungry, cold and upset. I was going to leave a tip anyways but wow, 18 percent forced? and weird service and forced to be...

I was visiting Tupper Lake on my own for a day. This restaurant was recommended. I went at 5 PM on Friday 7/22 and was promptly greeted and seated in a booth. It was not busy at that time. The table seated AFTER me was receiving their drink order before I was even acknowledged. They were having their order taken as I received my drink. A staff member was closing blinds behind me as sun was glaring in. She bumped me in the head and something swung around at hit me in the shoulder. No acknowledgement. I was served fairly promptly. My waitress NEVER: asked how my dinner was; asked if I wanted any refills on my water or if I'd like to order the wine I mentioned at my food order; asked if I wanted coffee or dessert. I heard the waitress at the next table ask all these things and attend to her customer. DURING my dinner, while I was eating, my waitress came over with a to-go box and asked if I'd like the rest to go! I informed her I was still eating and could I have more water please. No water. The wait line started to grow at this point and I felt I was being ousted because I was by myself and seated in a booth for 4. I kept getting stares from some staff. It took my waitress 10 minutes or more to return and at least that much to bring check. ...

This was a let down. We stopped in because we love Little Italy in Saranac and according to the website they are affiliated. We waited over 45 minutes just to sit, and instead of cleaning off one table so we could sit down they cleaned all tables in stages, so it took a long time. People who arrived after us were waited on and served before us. The waitress ignored us and was not friendly when she did stop. I wanted to leave multiple times but my husband wanted it, so we stayed. The garlic knots were under baked, and under seasoned. If you love garlic knots, it's supposed to be drowning in delicious garlic butter. Ours was very lacking and tasted doughy. The garlic butter was separated and had zero garlic flavor. The basket the garlic knots came in was absolutely filthy. We ordered the white garlic pizza with chicken. Their was zero sauce on the pizza itself. It was so dry. The only positive thing I can say was they were very generous with the chicken and cheese. The crust was hard, and very hard to eat. It tasted like it was very old, not at all fresh. They taste absolutely nothing like Little Italy in Saranac. The kicker is the next day all of us had stomach issues, if you get my drift.

Unfortunately just not a good experience. It was husband and I’s first time here together and upon entering we were greeted but found we needed cash or a checkbook (which who carries those anymore), so we went to the atm to get money out because they were one of the only places open with lunch options on a Saturday (which also, wild). We placed our order at the counter because we weren’t told to do otherwise, and sat down to wait. About 20 minutes later, I had to go up to the counter and ask where our food was and a minute later she brought it out. Food is overpriced and just average. Almost $16 for 3 tenders and fries. I would pay that if it was better quality but the price just doesn’t match the quality. My husband asked for 2 waters and without asking if he meant tap water, went ahead and charged him for 2 bottles waters. Won’t be returning.

So, I usually come by the Tupper lake establishment once a week because I really don’t feel like cooking because I work 6 days a week as a chef in lake placid. Went tonight, 1/2/2024. Had a LG pizza to go order and I ordered in advance. Came to pick up my order 30 minutes later. Brought it home and opened the box to see my entire pizza was burned on the top and bottom. The owner was there and thanked me after leaving a $10 tip. My bill was 29 and some change; so I thought it was appropriate to leave a local business with a good tip. Needless to say; I will not be returning here.
