This is by far the worst Hilton hotel, the worst any hotel I have ever stayed in the whole world!
I have traveled to many places and stayed at hotel such as: Hyatt Regency Taipei, H4 Munster Germany, JR Hotel Japan, The Peninsula Hong Kong, Hilton Garden Inn Washington State, double tree Boston, Aloft Kathmandu Nepal, and many many other hotels and Airbnb all over the world.
I have to say this is by far the worst worst, no other equal worst hotel experience I have ever had!
All the 1 star google reviews are true and my stay here are basically the combination of what these reviews say.
My company booked a two and a half month stay at this hotel upon my request because I really like Hilton’s quality and service.
Upon my arrival, the first night the next door tenant seemed to be playing video games and was cheering, laughing out loud nonstop (no joke) until 2 am.
I didn’t report anything to the front desk because I feel maybe that is just an exception and one night is not a big deal.
The second night, the same neighbor had a female accompany and they was also partying loud until 1 am. And the worst part is: they started singing out loud!!! At 1 am!!!
I reported to the front desk and they had to called security to stop the neighbor.
I requested a room change also on that day. The manager asked me to packed everything up (everything I just settled for living here two and half months) and leave at the front desk because they need to sell the room out.
I wanted to share my experience at the Peninsula in Hong Kong. It is a very renown but old hotel. The reason why it can still maintain so many customer is because of its customer service. We had a power outage in our room for only the lamps and reported to the front desk. The manager asked us to step out for dinner for 1 hour and when we come back, everything inside the original room was moved to an upgraded room in the exact same locations with a nice apology letter.
So now I am in the new room at Hilton on the third night. They placed me in a very small room with a door connecting to the next room (like those family rooms). And there is a bar close by the hotel. So the next morning, I reported to the manager that I still couldn’t sleep because of the lady snoring next door and the loud bar music until 2am.
The manager seriously had a facial express as in “this is a troublesome girl just keeps on finding trouble”. They told me they couldn’t do much about it.
I tried to ask if I could get my original room back after the next door people check out as in I could tolerate until then. But they said: “We don’t know if the original room will be available because the customer might want extended stay~ And we don’t know when the next door tenant will move out.” (First I don’t have to get the original room, I just want to avoid more troubles Second, how do they NOT know about the check out dates or extension stays situations?)
The fourth night, the bar music is still there until 2am. And guess what?? The lady next door had her alarm goes off for two whole cycles of iPhone (10 mins) starting at 2:30am. I didn’t file a report because I can clearly sense the unfriendly ness of the manager.
The fifth night, the lady had her alarm again at 1:00 am. And the alarm continued and when it’s 1:07am, I called the front desk. The front desk is obviously instructed by the manager and said they will give a call to the tenant but there is nothing they can do about it. The alarm kept going until it stopped. And then more rounds of alarm goes off at 1:30 am, 2:30am, and 3:00am.
I understand to a certain degree that the hotel can not control the tenant’s behavior and force quietness. But out of all the other hotels I stayed, there is a strict reinforcement on quiet hour (usually 10:00pm). Some high end hotels or execute business floor even have policy for no noise in the hallway. I really think the management is so disrespectful and careless. I hope everyone who read this review will be aware of the very noisy situations in this...
Read moreWe had a last minute stay here from the 13 - 21 for a family business and the hotel thankfully had one room available for us as we booked the hotel the same day. Half way thru the original planned stay we asked to extend our stay at the hotel and while they could not offer us the same room we were accommodated last minute which was great! The staff here were very nice and very helpful to us during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable which included a curtain between the bed(s) and the sofa area. This worked out great as we had a 1 year old with us in a pack n play on the other side of the curtain so he wasn’t distracted at night to sleep. ||The breakfast was okay. They did have waffle irons which was the best part. Other than waffles they had a couple bread options for toast, a few fruit selections, a couple cereal options, oatmeal, juices, milk, and coffee. Their protein options were honestly not great. They had a small case which housed the “egg” options. The one morning my wife tried it out she grabbed an egg scramble bowl which honestly tasted nasty. The eggs were definitely fake and it was for sure just something from the frozen food section at the store that you microwave. They could do better with the protein options 🤢||We brought a rental car to the hotel from the airport and on our second day we came to the car to find the car had been infested with ants! They were all over the inside, all over my son’s car seat, and had even gotten to the trunk where his stroller was. We were very upset but thought this was an issue with the rental car as there was dog food underneath the backseat that was left from a previous renter. Got another car that we borrowed from family and once again on the second day of using this car we came to the car to find it had also been infested with ants! This time it was worse. Took a washing and a few vacuumings to get all the ants out. After the second time we realized this was an issue with the hotel parking area. The parking lot should definitely get sprayed! This was a weird experience as we’ve never had ants invade a car before.||Other than this we had a relatively good experience...
Read moreI am extremely satisfied with my stay at Home2 Suites, Tracy, CA. I had an incredibly lovely experience, from the time I walked into the hotel until I checked out. I can truly say that all of the staff was very professional, welcoming, and provided great customer service. Not to take anything away from the other staff, but Dom really provided stellar customer service throughout my entire visit. I felt that she went over and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. She was very professional, personable, engaging, cheerful, friendly and helpful and made me feel at home. I conversed with her throughout my stay and she always remembered what we spoke about and always took the time to answer my questions. Anything that I needed assistance with, being recommendations for restaurants, coupons, shopping near the hotel, extra towels, a good conversation, etc.) Dom was extremely helpful. She had a great attitude. With as many guests as they had coming and going it was very nice to have that personal touch.
Once I got to my room I was presently surprised at how nice and spacious my room was. Literally everything was well maintained and working perfectly. I loved that the lobby was stocked all day with coffee, teas and hot chocolate. I also liked that they had a water dispenser that you could get hot or cold water from if you had your own reusable bottle.
If you’re looking for a well located, safe, clean and professional hotel for short or long-term stay, this is the place. From the front desk, housekeeping, and the kitchen staff everyone was polite and accommodating. The location is, situated in a nice area with easy access to shops, restaurants, and other attractions.
I was so happy I chose to stay there. Overall, I had an outstanding experience and would recommend this...
