Northstar Condo — Hotel in Truckee

Rooms are nice and roomy. They have a shuttle system to take you from your room to the village which is really great to hang out or head up there mountain on the gondola.

Got a condo with 2bed and 2 bath. There was an ant problem though and whenever we saw them, the front desk was closed ( they close at 5 and we'd get back from our activities by then). Though we want to use the full kitchen, the ants made it more trouble than it's worth since we didn't have cleaning products other than pledge. This was for summer, I'm sure ants aren't a problem in winter, in which case this place...

Northstar is well located, few minutes away from main attractions on North Lake Tahoe. Its location is also helpful fom people coming from the Bay Area, as the highways to get there are better than the ones that lead to the south part of the lake. The lodge was super cozy, a true mountain feel. Fireplace, high speed internet, good shower and bed. Check in was easy and check out was seamless. Recommend staying there, specially for parties bigger than two people, as the lodge offer multiple bedrooms...

It was great experience. Everything in the condo is very clean and neat. Shuttle service is so comfortable....
