The snowboard shop has died in most of California and only the shops at the resorts are left that stock meaningful deal. You can get decent gear at sports basement etc but they focus a lot On skiiers too so It’s not the same ...not sure what to say about customer service since I research heavily and buy most stuff online, but it was fine for me! I stopped asking employees about gear years ago. This gets the 5 stars because you’re never going to see this range of quality female snowboarding gear in one place unless you’re in a mailorder warehouse or Salt Lake City. The sales At the end of the season make it all affordable & unlike most high end ski gear snowboarding jackets double up nicely off the slopes as civilian off mountain wear. You can actually move in a snowboard jacket while hiking in the rain unlike a woman’s ski one which feels like a straitjacket. Boots and bindings I buy online (I’m too small and picky for most shops... if you’re a woman unlike men in sports you simply can’t rely on anything retail after you fully understand how the products work and what quality is... ), but the board selection for women was solid, there were some nice edition gnu I never see at the chain stores so this is a great place to get a woman’s snowboard especially if you’re not a midget like me. The men’s clothing is also great for women — if you’re female go for the men’s stuff if you can, the material is always better and more attractive too. (Men are peacocks) it’s too bad there aren’t any local snowboard shops anymore! This is the last holdout and it’s good to...
Read moreI had a great experience in the store today! My binding had fallen off my snowboard and I had lost the screw the last time I boarded. I brought it in and one of the nice workers put my board right up, put the strap back on, and checked and tightened all the screws! I was a little stressed getting to the mountain today without a functional board but was super stoked to be safely on my way in just a few mins.! Will definitely be back to check out some of the awesome gear...

The ones she choose turned out to be too tight. Butter box had the same boot in a different color in the larger size for only a slight markup of a few dollars. Kudos Butterbox for not gauging on the boots. AND GF is...
