BoxDrop Mattress & Furniture Rhode Island — Hotel in Warren

Just ok - mehhhh I came in for a mattress. (I had been a customer of the former owner and knew he sold the business - so I decided to give new business a try). I did not spend too much time looking for my mattress and I was on a budget. I did decide to purchase a clearance mattress. In the store the bed felt and looked great perfect with no noticable flaws. Just a reduced in price. I have to say after getting my mattress I'm a little disappointed. First I did not realize how the mattress would be delivered - all rolled up - at the time of purchase. Yes the hybrid beds are easy and all of that. But I specifically had a 15-20 minute discussion with the salesperson about how my old home I could not fit a queen mattress up the steps. Never did she say this bed was all rolled up - she actually asked could I fit a Queen bed inside my home. Which is what led me to tell the story if my last apartment and how I could not. Bed shows up. No real issues noticed at the time other than I was confused that it was rolled up. I did call to make sure I had the correct bed, as during the delivery my college age daughter said they brought in the wrong mattress and had to return - get it and bring in the correct bed. I was over the phone by the owner that in a day the bed would fully puff up, but I could sleep in it the first night. Well maybe being that it was in clearance or who knows for how many years rolled up - it did not puff up equally. The part where your feet and the end where your pillow go (both ends)have a downward slope. So probably not my best decision for picking out a bed or trusting "after seeing the showroom model" that this was a good deal or choice. I probably won't return this mattress, as when I called a bit confused after the delivery, the owner ship seemed almost a bit annoyed I had no idea the bed would be rolled up. Obviously his frustration should have been directed at his own employee or their lack of training about how beds are shipped/delivered or what is actually in the showroom. I bought a $70.00 topped pad in Amazon to put on top - which seems to help. Again this could have gone towards a bed mattress - but having never purchased a mattress from this store I'm not sure if more costly one would be better, I think they specialize in discounted furniture and mattresses. I honestly owe no loyalty to this store and will shop around more next time before choosing to buy a bed. My experience was mehhhhh! Nothing special - pretty "who cares vibe" actually. → First heard about BoxDrop of New England from a Facebook marketplace advertisement, while looking for a sectional sofa for a new home. After making multiple offers for used sectionals on FB marketplace, but never hearing back, figured I'd switch to buying new instead of used. Very happy I made the trek out to showroom in Warren, RI because the selection of items is great! Furniture prices were very reasonable, and the delivery price even more so. Loved the sectional that I bought there so much that I figured I'd go back for a bedroom set + mattress. Very happy with both purchases. Between the two trips to the Warren location, I met the owner of the BoxDrop Mattress Direct store in Pawtucket (who was covering in Warren), and then met the owners of the Warren location on the 2nd trip (I apologize that I'm forgetting names). All (3x) people were very helpful & friendly in answering questions while browsing in the store. I have nothing but positive things to say about the delivery team as well. → I will add that I'm still waiting for the chest from the bedroom set to come in, but I knew that the materials were not available at the time of purchase, so that wasn't unexpected, nor was it something I needed urgently. That's certainly not going to bring my rating down to anything lower than 5/5 stars, but figured it may be worth mentioning if anyone else wanted to buy a bedroom set and needed everything all at once. I never knew they were in my backyard. We were looking for a new mattress store. I found the Facebook ad when I inquired I spoke to a gentleman named Kyle, who turned out to be the owner. He told me to ask for Carolyn when I show up so we went in on New Year’s Eve. And we met with Carolyn. She was very knowledgeable. Did not try to oversell me. Listen to my needs showed me some options questions she could not answer. She contacted the owner Kyle he came over. And filled in all the blanks for me I noticed they had a power lift recliner chair, and they started searching for one that would suit my needs without me even asking. We did making a purchase of a king size bed and frame? I will say this is one of my best experiences ever shopping. We were a long time, sleepy customers, and we’re looking for a change I am happy we found Box drop mattress and furniture in Warren Rhode Island on Metacom Avenue. I cannot say enough about this place. I highly recommend them great prices great attitude great customer experience.. Kristi and I thank you for your great service.
