It's a good thing the bread is good, because the service is beyond awful. Today was the last straw. Since the owners changed hands, I've dealt with two clerks. The young short guy is insufferable. The bread goes bad after a DAY-he doesn't give me a plastic bag to help keep them fresh-he gives me paper. I try to buy fruits for my wife BY THE POUND-he tries to sell me the rotting ones while leaving the ripe ones in the bakery. I ask for UNBURNT bread for my HEAVILY Portuguese wife and he tries to sneak some in my bag. Not to mention the constant face of depression the guy has every time I walk through the door-the baked goods are already overpriced for what they are, the least you can do is smile...
