Originally we were just here to swim for the day. During our visit we lost our car keys and brought it to the attention of nearly every staff member. After checking with lost & found where nothing turned up, we were forced to call Triple A and made hours attempts to reach for the keys we thought might’ve been in our trunk. Staff was kind and brought out a broom so we could better reach for where we thought the keys were. After we got it open, we saw the keys weren’t in the trunk. My sister offered her room stay for us so we weren’t stranded. After I made arrangements, a staff member from the arcade overhear me and just pulled out my key set from behind his register. There was hours and so much effort in retrieving my lost keys because the hotel only requires the turn in of lost items at the END of the night. This needs to change when you have daytime guests, especially if they find a set of someone’s keys/phone anything valuable that someone can’t leave without. Even a phone call to lost & found would’ve saved us hours of struggle! Another thing I noticed was how rude the staff was to the families that paid to stay. Within those 3 hours of trying to find our keys we witnessed probably close to 10 police squad cars pull up to assist. The guests were shouting profanity and although staff made every attempt to keep them outside and away from other patrons, they could’ve easily deescalated before it got to that point. Not allowing overnight guests to have their parties enter in their room for any reason we thought was unfair. Earlier I had no problem getting to my sisters room to shower yet these families of colour weren’t allowed to go into their rooms unless their name was associated with the room. After escalation they told the guests they could no longer stay, and no longer enter in their room. The staff started clearing out their room for the guests and this aggravated them more. The mother was given a disorderly conduct due to this issue the staff created. I had witnessed a father try to give his son a pair of dry pants for after his swim, but because the father showered and removed his day swim bracelet, the staff refused to let him walk down the stairs to hand his son the pants he needed to get dressed with. Also If you’re staying in any room other than a suite, expect to take a hike every time you need to reheat food. They don’t offer microwaves in rooms, but they have a really small mini fridge. Soap dispensers were filled minimally so we ran out. The only thing decent besides updated looks was the comfortable bed. But that doesn’t make up for the rest of the chaos I witnessed. So disappointed in the way staff police’s guests, especially those with a darker skin colour. It was...

We rented 5 rooms for family to have a fun weekend. Booking was a hassle. We have stayed here the last 3 years and each time the reservation have been messed up. Same thing again this year. A manager straightened it out. When checking in the lady was slow and talked poorly of a coworker to me. She also acted irritated that i was checking in 5 rooms stating "well this is going to take a long time". The rooms were fairly clean except one room the sheets were put on the bed inside out and in another room there were cobwebs in a corner of the ceiling and my daughter was being poked in the night by a straw type piece of wood that was between the sheets and mattress. The pool was cloudy and dirty looking. It was gross! The hot tub had so much chlorine it made our eyes burn and the outside part of the hot tub was shut down which was a big part of wanting the waterpark passes so the adults in our group could also enjoy the park area. Big disappointment. The hallway smelled strongly of Marijuana. I believe the 2 sheriff's and manager that were in our hallway for a long time, took care of the "situation". One of our group got a knock on their door around 11:00pm by a very rude staff and security guard saying that neighbors were complaining of loud music. The only neighbors were all of us staying in our group. We were all in our own rooms and in bed. They were watching TV but the volume was low, while they tried to have their 3 year old whined down after a long day. We believe they went to the wrong room. That said, yes it really is noisy. Lots of kids running up and down the halls. Rude people talking loudly at 6am and kids running back and forth at all times. There were more little things I won't bother with but the last thing that happened was one of our guest couldn't find there phone. She called a few times after checking out and they insisted it wasn't in the room and that they check multiple times. We went back to look for ourselves. Front desk acted annoyed and kept saying they didn't have the phone. We insisted on looking in the room and again with the roll of his eyes, annoyed, said they don't have it. Finally he called and asked someone to meet us at the room. We walked in and again she said she already looked. I went right to the bed and it was on the floor by the head of the bed. This is the first review I've ever written in my 60 years but I need to let people know ....DO NOT STAY HERE. We as a family don't let much get to us and we still enjoyed our family time but they really made it hard. We will not stay here again! Oh and the breakfast is expensive and besides the bacon, was...

The prices were fair and overall had a good family experience. You get what you pay for I guess. We got a 2 queen room, 4 swim passes, 40 arcade tokens, a large pizza, and an order of garlic bread all for around $250. My 7 year old had a lot of fun and the room was nice. The walls are very paper thin. You can hear your neighbors and anyone in the hallway. I didn't check, but assumed the room had a microwave...and it didn't, so there was no way to warm up leftovers. There is a mini fridge though. The bath tub is tiny - not a normal size tub. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. We had a family trying to enter our room by mistake because they were told the wrong room number. Another time, we opened our door because we heard knocking and the guests were knocking on someone else's door, but because the walls are so thin, it sounded like our door. The beds weren't very comfy. We ended up waking up with sore backs.

We ate dinner and breakfast in our rooms. The food arrived very quickly and tasted great. I would've loved salt and pepper for my eggs though. I didn't realize they'd come without seasoning on them. The portions were great and the pricing was fair.

Regarding the waterpark, it was cool that the hot tub goes outside. It isn't that large of a waterpark. It has two big slides, a lazy river, a 3 to 4 feet deep basketball pool area, an obstacle area, a hot tub, and a kiddie splash pad area. The two slides were very fun and the lines for rides were not that long of a wait even though it was busy. The waterpark definitely felt smaller because it was very busy when we went on a Friday.

The arcade games were fun and pretty typical games you'd find elsewhere. The prizes were a joke, but we just had to tell ourselves we paid for the experience, not the prizes. The arcade room was very hot. It felt like it must've been around 80° F and the ticket counter was broken, so we just had to manually add up the tickets.

There were a few bad guest experiences. Just seeing other guests yell or not keep a close eye on their kids. I was pushing a stroller through a doorway and had a guy cut me off and pushed his way through the door without even opening the door for me. Had a couple of women cut me off in the hallway. My husband watched my 7 year old get pushed out of the way by another kid, so he ended up talking to the kid. She did apologize and said it was an accident.

Staff were all wearing masks, but honestly saw maybe a handful of guests wearing masks. It was not enforced anywhere in the hotel.

I am unsure if we would go back. The hotel is overall fine, but the guests and how busy it was kind of ruined...
