We love this motel! It's much nicer than an overpriced two or three story hotel. The clerks were polite, considerate, and went out of their way to be helpful & informed. We reserved a king size bed; the room was spacious with a couch, desk, refrigerator, microwave, the bed, and various tables. There was plenty of lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable after a long day of driving; the bed linens were clean and bright white. The bathroom was clean, there was a good supply of towels that were clean and bright white. The tub did have some discoloration on the bottom from age, but it's clean. The refrigerator and microwave were clean, spacious, and odor free. The carpet is dark, so it's easy to see if it has been vacuumed and it was free of any unwanted particles. All we want from a hotel room is that it is: clean, has a comfortable clean bed, and has a good supply of hot water. This motel checks all those boxes. The bonus of staying at a motel like this: you park outside your door - so you don't have to lug all your luggage and stuff through a hotel and up and down stairs. Safety - your vehicle is right there. Your staying within a U shaped space that everything in the lot can be seen... limiting the accessibility of bad elements ability for mischief. There is a lovely pool. Perfect for wearing of children's energy or to relax. Each room has lawn chairs outside the room where a person can sit and listen to the many birds chattering. Don't be concerned about the construction closure of the on/ off ramp. Google maps will adjust your route and there is no back tracking. It was rather fun to drive the short distance off the interstate and see the countyside close up. The slight adjustment to our route wasn't inconvenient and well worth it to stay at such an economical find. Save yourself money, have a good night's rest (it was very quiet there too). We highly recommend this motel.

So first off the rooms are SEMI RENOVATED. Saw a bunch of mixed reviews between renovated and not theyre in the process of it so there's new furniture and rugs but the bathrooms, molding and paint still need updated. So Rooms: they're ok, beds are comfy enough pillows are a mix of too soft and just puffy. You have a working fridge and microwave, plenty of outlets for your electriconics, a desk and computer chair. The walls are kinda thin I heard my neighbors when they were near their doors but other than that no noise. Bathrooms: definitely need an update, kinda small, kinda dirty looking, toilet was really small too and cramped in the corner. But they do have actual bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash stuck to the shower wall so that was good. The shower sometimes squeaks and the hot water doesn't get extremely hot but hot enough. Amenities: there's a pool outside in the middle of the parking lot. It's looks very clean. There's ice machines at the 3 corners and they are also clean. Customer service: both the people I dealt with were very friendly and check in and check out is very quick and easy. BREAKFAST: the most important thing! It's ok, they have cheese omletes and sausage, a pancake maker, cereal, juice and bread. No biscuits 😔 *** I would have liked to given at least 4 stars but my room was plagued by flys I killed at least 20 of them and there was still a few left and I put fly paper up but none went to it*** ⭐ My photos are the ones with date and "vs" on them. Should be the most recent.

It makes me wonder if some of these reviews are from friends and family members. My wife booked a room with a queen bed here through a 3rd party website. Upon arrival and during check in we got told that there was no queen bed available. Uhm.... ok nothing got really further explained to us and we got room 128 assigned to us. We weren't offered any discount. Tired from traveling we get to bed and try to get some night sleep. Well that didn't last too long. Doors of surrounding units slamming in the middle of the night. I could hear people talking in the room next to me. Not the hotel's fault to be clear! In the morning my wife and I went for breakfast and had put all our stuff in the car. Since the breakfast area doesn't have a public restroom we decided to head back to our room. We were totally confused when we noticed the door being wide open and being greeted by a cloud of smoke from someone smoking pot inside the room (mind you, this is a non smoking room!). We asked if we could use the bathroom and what seemed to be the maintenance guy let us in. To add to the confusion the night stand next to the bed was removed. While I walked through the room I noticed a worksheet with our room number on it with a note next to it "Ants in bed". While the room was ok, putting a customer knowingly in a room with a bug issue is kind of bad customer service.

My daughter and I traveled to Napoleon for a Water Polo tournament. All their hotels were sold out, so we stayed at this Days Inn about 15 mins away. ||The hotel is very old and outdated. When we walked into the motel room is was moldy and musty smelling. The plug in AC unit was powered off and that smell disappeared after an hour or so of the AC circulating air. ||Our mattress had a large blood stain on the side of it. (Larger than my hand). I did mention this on the text they sent me asking how my check in and stay was.. But they never responded. I did go to the front desk and mention it to the lady as well. She was disgusted at the photo I showed her and was very kind stating she would relay the info to her manager and they should discount our stay a little. (Nobody every contacted me) Which is fine. We stayed there but I wouldn't ever stay again. Nor would I recommend it. ||There was an ashtray on all the windowsills outside. The one out front of our room was FILLED with cigarette butts (Apparently housekeeping doesn't dump the ashtrays) and the aroma of stale cigarettes lingered. People next to us were smoking marijuana. If you are sensitive to smells, this isn't your place. We also walked to the pool but I didn't get in due to rocks, dirt and leaves all through it. You could tell upkeep had not been done.||Overall it didn't feel safe to me to walk to the ice machine a few doors down after dark as people were lingering outside in groups around their cars. ||Breakfast was minimal for a continental breakfast. It consisted of toast, a premade egg omelette with a cheese slice inside, sausage links, yogurt, cereal or a premade package of pancakes you can heat up. Better than nothing for sure, but the smallest continental breakfast I've ever seen. ||The one positive thing I can say is that I didn't...
