Cobblestone Hotel - Wayne — Hotel in Wayne

Pool had broken tile. Got deep 1 1x2" cut on my foot. They did not have adequate 1st aid kit, know what to do. Was told a manager would follow up, but have heard nothing in 2 days. Still paid full price for room and gotten blown off since reporting the injury. Shower also peeling away from drywall. Not impressed with what seems to be a newer Inn. Contacted BBB & trying to get a manager to discuss it, but may seek legal resolution if they continue to avoid the issue. After BS conversation with their underwriter, and no contact for 2 months, I am now leaning towards legal action. They have made NO replys to me at all, and I am positive this is just trying to be swept under the rug and forgotten. I only asked that some items that got bloody be replaced. Heaven help you if you get hurt there. Your likely to be ignored, so they can continue to make a buck with NO accountability for their actions. (or lack of). If I could give negative stars, I would!!! Finally,,,,,. out of no where I get a call from the insurance company, they notified me that I would be receiving the amount I asked for to recover my loss. Very slow to settle and communicate, but at least I finally have reimbursement. Hopefully they have learned how to better...

Hotel room was clean and beds were comfortable. However, the breakfast was not warm at all and was definitely a health issue. Cereal was stale and there was a limited supply of donuts (gone at 8am, when there was an hour left of breakfast). Also many times over the weekend the coffee offered at the front lobby was cold. The last time when I was filling up with coffee it was actually a guest that told me the coffee was cold, sure enough it was. In the hotels defence, there is a coffee maker with some single serve coffee in the hotel room. But sometimes when you're on the run it would be convenient to have warm coffee available at the front.

They have a good computer in front lobby for their business center with a printer. It was convenient, however one hour in the internet randomly stopped working.

Nothing majorly wrong here and like I said the rooms were good along with the beds and check in/out process. However there's small things that can be fixed.

Considering the other hotels in the area, if I were to return to this city, I'd stay...

I’ve not had such an incredible hotel experience in a long time… maybe never. The hotel room was very clean, linens and towels were fresh, even the mattress was wrapped in some sort of protective bag, in what I’m guessing is, to prevent bedbugs. Such a great idea.

But it was the staff that made the biggest difference. They had a little bar that sold beer and wine for guests to take to their room. Sweet. The manager then offered me a homemade cookie that was so very good. I stayed two nights and overheard the people cleaning the other rooms and realized it was a program to teach special needs students different skills. The kids were having fun, their teacher was AMAZING the way she kept things light while seeing to it they do a thorough job. Then I left and realized I’d left my favorite pair of pants in the room.
