I contacted the owner to plan a surprise 30th birthday party and murder mystery for my daughter. We met, she gave me a tour (this is a beautiful old Victorian home that she has restored to it's splendor) and explained how the murder mystery would work. She is so friendly and helpful, yet very professional. On the day of the party, she had decorated the house with photographs of my daughter through the years (she suggested this) and she had the Parlor and Dining Room decorated with Happy Birthday. She was "in character" for the murder mystery - WHICH WAS A BLAST and took us all over the B&B. The two bedrooms are breathtakingly beautiful and the two guest bathrooms are exquisitely done. The food she prepared for the party, OH. MY. GOSH! Everything was SO delicious and the coffee/tea bar was wonderfully stocked! We were just blown away with all that the owner had done to make my daughter's 30th so special. As we were leaving, my daughter asked me how long I had known the owner. I told her only since I booked the party, why? My daughter said that she and I interacted as if we were long time friends. This, THIS is how to run a business. Treat your customers as long-time friends. Just an amazing experience all around! As to cost, for a group of up to 10, it was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be visiting here...

BEAUTIFUL , SPOTLESS, AMENITIES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE UNMATCHED! It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and we are so glad we did. It was by far one of our best vacations! As we approached the house, we where greeted with a warm, friendly smile from our hostess, Sheila. Throughout our entire stay, she and her husband James made sure we felt welcome and comfortable, encouraging us to to explore, relax and make ourselves at home. The entire house was absolutely stunning! Each room was thoughtfully styled and furnished with authentic antique pieces accentuating the houses’s 19th century charm. We were served breakfast of our choice in the elegant dining room. The rap-around porch looked like something straight out of a “Gone With the Wind” movie, complete with rocking chairs and ceiling fans. Perfect for relaxing with a glass of sweet tea and a book. The outside grounds were perfectly manicured. The bedrooms were spacious and our mattress was addictively comfortable. But, the star of the show was the vintage clawfoot tub that cradles you like a sleeping baby- to die for! Oh, and did I mention the very reasonable rates? Yes, we will definitely be returning!
