Fades 4 Change Barbershop Barberia — Local services in Wellford

This place used to be a very nice barbershop where my family and I would come on a regular basis and I would leave very satisfied. Today, I walked in at 2:00pm without an appointment and asked if I could be seen. They told me that they are busy and I could come in at 7:30pm if I wanted a haircut. I agreed and came back at 7:30pm.

There were 2 barbers at the time. The place was not busy at the time (only 2 clients). One of the barbers told me that they could see me but I had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes.

So I took a seat and waited for at least 40 minutes, while the barber was not even concerned about the time. He was taking constant smoke breaks and was eating food that was laid out right on the table next to the bar chairs. Also, the person he was cutting hair was on his phone and would give the barber the phone to talk to somebody back-and-forth. I ended up leaving.

This place has become very unsanitary. The rooms are very dirty, including the restroom. Also, The entire place smelled of cigarette smoke. The owner needs to consider changing his barbers as well clean up this mess. I am very disappointed. I am a business owner myself and this is just unacceptable.

Unfortunately, I will no longer be coming to this place, as well...

They are supposedly welcoming of walk-ins but I came in with my son and sat there for 37 minutes before someone decided to tell us that they were booked up for the night. If they would've said something about that when we first walked in, I still would've had time to go elsewhere. You're obviously only going to get a cut here if you know the barbers because they'll skip right over walk-ins to get them first. I'm editing this to respond to the person who answered-- I tried calling multiple times to make an appointment and was greeted with a message that says the voicemail was full after no one ever bothered to...

Took my boys to get haircuts Wednesday && two of my boys sat in the young black man’s chair. We told him the hair style that they wanted. I asked him was he able to do that kind of hairstyle. He said yes! that he could. So he started cutting my oldest sons hair. And he just kept cutting shorter && shorter. And done my other son the same way. My boys have cried about their hair since we left. It looks horrible. && definitely NOT what we asked for. I wouldn’t recommend this barber shop to anyone. And if I could give 0 stars. I would. But it doesn’t give you that option. If you cant cut hair. Or that hairstyle. Please...
