Roaches and mostly occupied by displaced persons housed there by public dollars so even though it’s not the cheapest price motel there’s more illicit activity than a typical cheap motel in the area. The motel is in bad shape and the rooms all on the fairly deplorable side. Many rooms occupied by the long term guests are totally destroyed with broken furniture hoards of trash graffiti shopping carts etc. Ive stayed in or been inside of almost all of the rooms aside from most of the ones way in the back which aren’t used much. The jacuzzi room is whack and very awkward and doesn’t really have a romantic vibe but who knows. Some of the rooms have mirrors and are in better condition but are still typically unsanitary. They’re pretty good about changing the bedding but definitely not perfect and the quality of the sheets is very poor and they usually come off the mattress since they don’t use fitted sheets and the ones they do use are not large enough to stay on. I’ve seen 1 bed bug, there are lots of service dogs staying there so if you have an animal too it may get fleas, and there are roaches in every room. The organization that oversees the homeless housing program take over the entire place during the day and usually there are security guards working for them sitting out 24/7 often in front of guests rooms or having loud conversations, which is disruptive and having someone sitting outside your door feels like an invasion of privacy. The family who manage it are alright, they’re pretty nice in general and not overbearing at all but are extremely cheap and try nickel and dime everyone. One time there was credit from money put into the vending machine from a previous guests when I went to use it which the manager noticed and he ran out of the office to eject it and take it and make sure I could use it myself. It was extremely bizarre. They are extremely temperamental and do not tolerate any form of criticism or disagreement with their often totally delusional statements. They will invent reasons that you owe them more money and do not like it when guests pay the online rate. They are pretty nice though in general and enforce strict rules about...
Read moreThis hotel is completely misleading. Nothing about this hotel looks like the pictures shown when I was looking for a hotel. Someone needs to remove all current pictures because it's false advertisement. If this hotel remodeled, it remodeled backwards for the worst. Another very important lack of advertising is half of the hotel is being used to house homeless. I found that out when I spoke to security about the limited amount of parking because the larger portion of their lot was blocked off by cones and the security said that portion of the lot was for their homeless tenants to park. Its a nice thing this hotel is doing to give shelter to the homeless, but I still was surprised. I needed somewhere affordable to stay the night that from the advertised pictures didn't look run down and ghetto, but this place is exactly that. Unfortunately all the nicer hotels were charging extremely higher rates than normal, so this is what I went with. I will never stay here again and I warn everyone else not to stay here. It is loud, people driving in and out blasting their music. The window rattled from the bass in their music because of how loud they played it, and this was all night long. Honking their car horns all night and not from setting their car alarms. Security did nothing. The room was old, run down and dirty. No carpet, dirty floor, I didn't dare walk anywhere barefoot, I kept my shoes on. The bed comforter, sheets and pillow covers all had burn holes from cigarettes. Stained pillows and sheets. None smoking room, but stunk of cigarettes. Old, stained towels, dirty bathroom floor and tub. I stayed one night and checked out early. I'll never stay...
Read moreThis place was by far the filthiest hotel/motel I have ever stayed in.
Within my first hour after checking in, I lost track of the number of ants, spiders, and roaches I killed, knocked down at least three spiderwebs, and had to thoroughly scrub my feet twice because after seconds of stepping barefoot on the carpet, my feet were pitch black. I probably would have had cleaner feet walking barefoot in the parking lot of this dump than I did walking inside the room I paid to stay in. I also would likely have encountered fewer bugs. On top of all this, the curtains were tattered and had white stains on them. I don't want to even guess what the stains were from... perhaps it was the water that came out of their barely functional faucet, which resembled something you wouldn't want to drink if your life depended on it.
Also, there is so much false advertising on their website that it's comical. Their 47 inch tv with multiple "premium channels" was a small screen (19 inches tops) with 12 channels, two of which didn't work. If there was a refrigerator in this room, the colony of ants, spiders and roaches must have ate it, because there wasn't one to be found.. Equally invisible was the swimming pool they promote having on their site. Oh, and for the record? Two wicker chairs with couch/chair cushions on them isn't a sofa. Sorry to break it.
Do yourselves a favor. Spend whatever extra you need to and go elsewhere.. No matter how "low the price" is, run far and fast from this place. You may be cleaner and better off sleeping under an...
