EDIT: I do not make fake reviews. If this is family operated then that’s worse. Here’s the proof. My google maps tracks my location at all times and gives me all the places I stopped at. I ended up spending a little over $50. Since it was uncomfortable I felt like I had to buy something. We stopped by this gift shop to get some souvenirs and did not feel welcomed. I wish more businesses in MT hired better staff since they get a lot of tourists. The shop didn’t have many options to select from but I still got a shirt and a lighter. Don’t waste your time stopping here to find good souvenirs specially if you’re from a different background.

Highly recommend this activity. We chose to do the shuttle as we were unable to get a vehicle pass into the park. Tom brought us up in the shuttle with 4 eBikes on the rack right to Avalanche (this was where the going to the sun road is / was closed to vehicles during our stay) from there we were able to go up 12 miles right around where the weeping wall is. The bikes were in great working order, and the ride was spectacular. Time picked us up at the same spot right when he said he would. We spent a total of 8 hours in the park and we also stopped off a few spots to do some hikes along the way.

My family and I came down for may long weekend. We stopped down at the store to grab firewood and the amazing gentleman there showed us a map and gave us tips for where to go! My son had bought some tshirts however forgot them at the till. We didn’t notice at all! The next day we stopped again for hot chocolate and the gentleman had the tshirts in a bag for us! We didn’t even realize they were lost let alone he kept them so he could return them! Honestly amazing customer service! Would highly recommend making a stop here!!!

I stayed in the Blue Bird Studio for three nights during my week-long Glacier National Park vacation. The other nights were at those historic railroad hotels, so while those are an experience, this is a great value by comparison. The location is convenient, about halfway between West Glacier and Hungry Horse, which is where the National Forest Ranger Station is, as well as a couple restaurants. I didn't check in until Day 4 of my trip, but even on Day 1, the staff of the general store downstairs were super helpful by explaining why I wouldn't want to rent bear spray, and also why I wouldn't want to test the spray can (it's essentially like a fire extinguisher and designed to be emptied in a single emergency use). The studio was just comfortable - all I needed and more. The AC worked excellently, and was a welcome change from the historic hotels where you're relying on an open window and maybe a fan. The Quonset-hut-esque design is quirky, but once I learned not to bonk my head, it just added to the charm. I made use of the fridge, microwave, and coffee machine, but didn't take advantage of the TV - I'd come to see the great outdoors after all. The shower includes a full-size tub for those times when you just need a soak. The check-in and check-out process is super laid back because most everything's already set up online before hand. On the morning I checked out, I needed to get on the road about 6:30 am to make a canoe reservation in Two Medicine, and that's before the general store - which is also reception - opens at 8 am. I checked the night before and learned that all I needed to do was make sure I got all my stuff packed back into the rental car. Super easy - even easier than the chain hotels that offer express checkout! Thanks for a great...

We stayed here from July 19, 2020 till today July 22, 2020 while we explored Glacier National Park. We stayed in the Mountainview studio.

I cannot say enough how pleased I am with the accommodations. This room was spotless and very comfortable. It truly felt like our little romantic getaway in a cabin. We were able to cook for ourselves as the room is equipped with a kitchenette that includes a full sized stove/oven and an apartment sized fridge with a freezer. Looks like a regular fridge but smaller. There is a microwave, toaster, and small coffee pot. The kitchen comes equipped with a pot, a large and small skillet, plates, bowls, forks, spoons, 2 small sharp knives, cooking utensils as well as coffee cups. The bathroom is fully equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. It is stocked with fresh towels and wash clothes and travel size shampoos and conditioners. This space was super clean too! No soap scummy grossness.

If there was something we needed, the staff went out of their way to make sure we had it! This place is a real gem! We made sure to buy our souvenirs in the general store here because we wanted to support local and to show our appreciation for the fantastic experience we've had staying here. Not to mention, the prices were not insanely touristy high. Of course, they are not grocery stores prices either but they certainly could have been much higher given the location.

All and all we're leaving with nothing but love for the Sky Eco Resort! If you are considering staying here I would say go for it! You will...

I had a great experience with Tom at Sky Eco Rentals in September 2021. I rented a Tesla for half a day on what I thought was my last day in Glacier National Park. I was very nervous about renting such an advanced and expensive vehicle. Likely sensing my nervousness, Tom was a very calming and patient teacher as we sat in the car and watched the Tesla instructional videos together. He supplied supplemental tips and cues, including repeatedly reminding me that “It’s a very fast car!” I returned the car just before 7:30 PM. It had been such an amazingly fun day! The weather was perfect; the park was bustling but not impossibly crowded; and the car drove like a dream—deftly handling the narrow lanes and tight turns. Tom was kind enough to drive me to the Amtrak station in West Glacier to catch that night’s train, and he followed up later by phone to make sure I was safe when he learned that the train had been delayed. Tom exemplifies the goodness of human kind. I will absolutely return to Sky Eco Rentals to check out the lodging and equipment rentals, as well as to spend more time with a Tesla. I told Tom that I want to see a whole Tesla fleet when I return!...
