Old Towne Motel — Hotel in Westby

Just noticed my review from a month ago had got taken down.... Curious as to why you guys did that. Update: And now they're calling me the liar and saying we booked for 3 people and said we had an air mattress.... Stay away from this place. They are saying if you have more than 4 people you should book two rooms and then pay $240+. They specifically said they had two beds and a pull out couch... We get there and we were supposed to bring our own cot/air mattress. You're better off going to the motel down the road that supplies cots if you need.

4. Go somewhere else. Save your nostrils and money for a better motel. Or a nice hotel. There is one not far from this place that even has an outdoor pool, is pet friendly and the people there are so kind and respectful.

We came to stay there about month ago on July 2nd. We had planned the trip a month prior so we could secure a room to bed 5 adults and a dog. Called them several times to make sure they had the room with 5 beds booked for us due to prior bad experiences. When we got there they told us it only it would only sleep 4 and they seriously said they thought we were going to bring a cot to sleep on...... $120+ a night and we were supposed to bring our own cot when you specifically said it...

We stayed at this motel just last night. Both pros and cons. If I could leave 2.5 stars, I would.|The check-in was not long, and the attendant was helpful. The air was heavy with air freshener.|My paraplegic husband was able to wheel into the room and alongside his bed with no problem. The room smelled musty, but it was roomy. The decor is very out of date. One of the beds had a dead fly and other debris between the sheets, and the sheets were very worn out. But the other bed looked clean and in good condition. We did sleep comfortably in it. The curtains were black-out, so the early sun didn't wake us up. Also, the room was fairly sound-proof; and even though our room had a patio door, the outside noise was blocked out.|The bathroom looked clean, and the water was always hot when we needed it to be. But again, the decor was from the 70's. Maybe in five years it will be back in style.|No breakfast at this place. Just coffee. Plenty of parking space. One thing to note: the patio door to our room was unlocked when we arrived, which made the room accessible to non-guests.|This place could be really good if they remodeled and got rid of the heavy...

In town for a wedding we got 2 rooms one for my kids and a pet friendly room and they accused my kids they where smoking in the room which they are not of age in the first place. Told the girl the night we check in that we had our dog so we would get charged the correct amount which I paid that night so wouldn’t have to worry about it at check out. which she didn’t charge me and the guy was rude about it. Felt like I was being harassed called both days and day of check out. In the morning I was upset due to being on a budget I said the girl should of made sure that she charged me the correct payment and when I stated that your person messed up I should get accommodation for the mess up he was just rude. I felt like the room my kids where in didn’t get cleaned due to them accusing. Do they do this thing on purpose? I will not be back to this place. Nor will I recommend it to others.
