Nordic Creamery — Local services in Westby

We traveled a distance to go to the creamery, as we had purchased some of their butter at another store, and wanted to go to the source. We purchased several items, including a small container of garlic basil butter. Upon returning home, we opened that butter, only to find finger swipe marks across the top. We did NOT eat the butter, as it looked like someone else had sampled the product. Several calls and emails later, we were told that prboduction workers wore gloves and the butter would be OK. Due to COVID the Creamery moved their retail operations and the Harvest Host sites off-site. Therefore, you get to see the final products in the store, however you do not get to see any of the Creamery operations. There are horses and a Petting Zoo at the retail location Parking is anywhere that you want behind the Store and beside the horse barns, likely on grass although you could possibly park on the gravel roadway. All of the products that we purchased have been very good. We found the staff to be very friendly...

For years, I have always purchased the Cashew Crunch and it’s absolutely divine. The only way to control myself is to only purchase during the holidays. I decided to try the cultured butter and raw cheese and I can honestly say that in my 48 years I have never tasted a creamier, robust butter! So not only has everything I have tried from Nordic Creamery been the absolute best tasting, but the customer service is beyond incredible.
