Pontiac Lake Motel — Hotel in White Lake Charter Township

When I stayed there No smoke detectors or fire extinguisher for room safety. No prior emergency or evacuation map or plan listed inside motel room.. Terrible room conditions Forced to breathe in cigarette smoke when I already have breathing issues no furnace filter to filter the air causing breathing problems which would be hotel motel owner responsibility to have safe breathing conditions. Terrible and sometimes no water pressure or even no water at all. Terrible. very unsafe conditions around Motel mostly parking lot no plow or salting or even leveling out rocks for safety. Absolutely unacceptable that people that pay money every week to live here that have jobs ..during the summer countless times being interrupted or disturbed because the owner's son decided to have a party down by the lake attracting more than 100 people with loud rude obnoxious kids screaming fighting and throwing beer bottles and cans everywhere being disrespectful. That is absolutely unacceptable the people living there were forced to just deal with it. as any time if the police were called and would show up the owner would hide in his little house. The vast majority of people living there were either Parolees convicts people on the Run or gigantic drug addicts. You've been warned I guarantee if you stay there you'll want your money...

Not worth one star. Water after a month has stained my toe nails and skin orange. Room came without garbage cans, but did come equiped with a dust pan. Heat randomly gets turned off occasionally. Water sometimes is off for hours and the prices listed are wrong. Also the pictures listed are not of this motel room. I lifted the lid to my toilet today and the water inside is dark brown and red. After buying a new shower head to replace the one offered that the buisness bought in the 70s, my new shower head after a week is already stained orange. I will be posting pictures of the actual location what the rooms truly look like and I hope management sees this and fixes the issues because the brown water in my toilet has been leaking out of the toilet itself for about...

My friend stayed at this place when she was in town, and I decided to join her for that night. Next time she's staying with me.

First of all, the person you pay for the room (most likely the owner) lives in one of the cabins, and we had to go in there to pay...as i looked around, I saw so much stuff piled everywhere.

Our room had a kitchenette which I refused to use because it hadn't been cleaned. No bugs as far as I saw, but there was pet hair all over the bed and the wall near the bathroom had been poorly repaired. Space heater and TV worked fine. Floor was a mess of dirt and dust.
