Base Lodge — Hotel in Whitefish

Big, busy but seemed to have plenty of seating....well lunch time is a bit crazy but we were still able to get a table. 10 of the soda machines were out of flavor and the guy there just shrugged at me when I mentioned it. I wanted to help because it's easy to hook up in less than five minutes but they seemed content to just make a sign and put out of order. Wonder how many sales were lost, because it was during the lunch rush? Another bummer was the lack of choices if you have wheat allergies. When were home we just pack lunches when we go to ski. We will have to remember that for next time....

Horrible decision by corporate to disrespect and insult the military service of retirees because "it was too hard to keep up with military retiree ID cards". This is the 1st year of this new policy and it has obviously not been very well thought through. Been coming here for years during both the summer season and the winter season but, quite frankly, I won't be back, not me or any of my out of state guests will ever step foot on the place again.....I have never felt more...

Base Lodge at Whitefish has charm. The staff are friendly. You'll find a variety of beverages , coffee drinks, and full bar. I was served the best made from scratch margarita on the rocks I've had in years. There are food offerings at Base Lodge, we chose to go to the summit for food...
