Scotland Park Motel & Apartments — Hotel in Wichita Falls

Rented the room for three days the credit card machine ran out of tape for reciept so the girl after phone calls and other searches finally found it scanned again billed twice on my credit card 150 2x they said I had to shpw them a statement showing the double charge did that then they said id be credited in ten days it didnt come bacl so I drove 300 miles to the place again to speak to the owner told me come back the next morning 9 pm he didnt show up the next day at nine pm still now I'm out the 150 140 in gas coming back and another night stay elsewhere the room didnt even have a pillow in fact I asked for never got and the shower looked like like something from band camp careful wear shoes ... have done everything they asked its been three weeks and the owner doesnt show up at 9 tells me I will just have to dispute it with my bank hes busy. So I did that I also contacted the police dept with letter of theft for the bank i also contacted the BBB and I'm speaking to attorneys to pursue charges for my other losses and time because at the time I was moving 300 milles then and broke and really needed that money even had to sell half my stuff to just keep going cause they refused to give me.my money back terrible place terrible experience still no money back yet and was told by bank opening it as a theft charge since they already requested it and didnt get it back will take til dec shame on you do not go here if u you dont want to be completely taken advantage of and...

I have rented an apartment here for over 4 years. Not the best, but definitely livable for the weekly rates. Jay (manager) was fired. The new manager just told me that I couldn't get a towel at 9:30pm. I haven't used one of the hotel towels in well over a year. I have my own and wash them myself. I can't do laundry till the morning, so just needed ONE TOWEL! In over a year, you would think I could get just 1 towel. I was told no towels till after 11am. ???? For well over a decade we have stayed at the Scotland Park Motel. It's been a couple of years since we were in Wichita Falls so we didn't think things could change so much in that short period of time. Here's the good, price can't be beat, clean, remodeled bathroom, very cold A/C||Now the bad, furniture broken, TV reception bad, the crime isn't acceptable. Undercover agents and local police investigating rooms just 3 doors down several times.
