Extended Stay America Select Suites - Wichita - North — Hotel in Wichita

I booked a room for my wife and myself on line. When we arrived at the hotel at 2:00pm staff there acted like they did not know what was going on, but stated that our room was not ready. So I stated that we would be back later. We came back at around 7:00pm to check in and no one was even at the counter to check us in.

My friend who was with us called the front desk on the phone, five minutes later the clerk showed up. The clerk asked for my ID and stated that I showed it to the person at the front desk earlier, but let the new clerk check it again. I give the clerk my booking paper that had my confirmation number on it when I booked earlier in the day. She then stated that she needed my credit card. I questioned that since I had booked it with my credit card online earlier in the day. The clerk stated that she was done and that she was cancelling my reservation and that if we did not leave the property she was going to call the police. I never used any bad language or said anything bad.

At my age of 65 I have been to hotels all over the world, never once have I ever been treated like this at any hotel. Whoever owns this Hotel, you are losing business. We went down to the Aloft Hotel and we were treated with respect and dignity. As a business owner myself, I certainly would not tolerate this type of employees. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Wichita! If this was the only hotel in town, I would rather camp in my Car as to stay...

The lady at the front desk was very unprofessional. I was a late check in (after 10p) I walked past a lady sitting outside to go in and use the phone to call someone to the front desk. While standing in the vestibule for about 15 mins waiting on an answering service to now call the lady at the front desk...the lady sitting outside decided to get up and finally help me.😳 She then tried to book a room for 2 nights upon request not using the advertising price on the big flashing sign outside which I had informed her about after she quoted me the price. She did however try to reduce the price she quoted and when I swiped my card to pay (several times because she seemed to be having an issue) my card ended up being charged 4 times after spending almost an hour at the front desk with this lady that did not know what she was doing. She also asked me for my preference on a smoking room and a double or single I told her none, of course she gave me smoking and single, she gave me a double. I was so tired I just went to sleep. The next day I asked to change rooms . The process was pretty easy but the room was just the same and still smelled like I was sitting inside an ash tray. The icing on the cake was the same lady who helped me with my changing of rooms. They need some serious help from front to back end to housekeeping and...

Well I really wish I could say the rooms were clean Max when you move out a couple of the dressers they're filthy behind it what's a dirty underneath the bed and the floors will make your feet turn black they don't mop well at all I love the people that work here they're awesome add tone three different people that my phone don't work in my room I never have done anything about it I asked him for a more comfortable chair because I have a lot of back issues the two people I asked that said they would get me chairs never did the only reason I would probably stay here again is because the fact that you have smoking rooms which I love which the South one you bought would add stay smoking rooms because I stayed there many times add 47th and Broadway area in Wichita so I ended up clear out here out in North Wichita no stores our places to eat like there was at 47 Street I do appreciate that you have kitchenettes I'm only staying here because I have to find a house to rent well have a blessed day and if you have any common sense in your head you will make the 47th Street and Broadway a smoking Motel again on top floor you'll get...
