This place is pathetic!! Been here 1 day, have a reservation for 4 days and I'm leaving tonight. They don't keep it groomed and grass is very sparse so there is lots of mud and you sink into the ground. There are no signs posted with the street site numbers so you drive around looking if you don't have a map and there is no pole with the # so you have to look on the electrical box that's in the back. The dog barking here is out of control, the type of guest here just let them constantly bark and don't care and campground does nothing. The sites are very close and you see all neighbors. I did drive down by the lake and those are only sites with grass and they keep groomed. Half of these sites only the trailer fits and people have to park their trucks sideways in front of them and you certainly cant park a 2nd car so guest would have to park way up front. This place knew Memorial day weekend was coming up and didn't mow or cut any weeds ahead of time. My first time camping was last week at Punderson State Park and that place was amazing, clean, organized big sites, lots of grass and trees, beautiful. Update, walked around to lake area, beautiful and spoke to couple guest and they said they got stuck on SW side before and left also. They will only stay in front area by lake and they love that. 3 sites in front of me had to go buy straw bales to put on their sites...

This was a great place to camp on the area as a renter. In a sea of campgrounds with waves of metal boxes as far as the eye can see in the area, this is one of the few that had tent sites with some privacy along the river leading into the lake. We had direct access to the creek, tons of spaces, a level spot for a tent, and plenty of trees for hammocks. Each area comes with I fire ring, grate and a picnic table. The store has all the stuff you forgot to pack. My only grip is how they split the fire wood. It’s long and flat which makes it hard to stack. But otherwise, a great spot. Shower we ok, not too crowded, plenty of shade, beach access, and well...

This is the worst Ohio State campground we have ever visited. Upon arriving for a holiday weekend we found our site overgrown and muddy. The mud I can understand, no excuse for the tall grass. I had to set my camper up in 12" to 16" tall grass. There were clumps of rotting grass throughout the entire site. 3 minutes with a weed eater and 5 minutes with a rake would of greatly improved the site. There are 8" deep ruts right outside our door that are completely filled from the rain yesterday. The shower house and restrooms are just OK. For $100 spent, very disappointing. We will never come back. Avoid site 119 like the plague. The camp...
