Pymatuning State Park - Ohio Campground — Hotel in Williamsfield Township

One of Ohio's hidden gems. Went to the gift shop plenty of camping supplies and friendly house that greet you at the door. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable and don't forget to take a trip to the newly constructed Wildlife Center, new from 2021. Cindy will be your host there, 37 years of doing her job and doing it quite well I might admit. She has such a wide array of birds and all types of animals found at the State Park. The taxidermy is so real life that you think they are brought out of the woods and into the building, they are that real looking. Kudos to the husband of the caretaker of this wonderful building as he did most of the taxidermy. It's a great Educational Center for Young children as well as older folks like myself. The park itself is quite amazing, well kept, clean, and always can expect a campground host to pass by your way in a golf cart if you have any questions. Each section of the park of the campground itself has their own host so it's not just one person doing all the work. Got to use one of the restrooms after leaving the gift shop before our bike ride and quite to my amazement the bathroom was as clean as you would find in any top notch restaurant. That to me is one of the really selling points of a park is what they do to their restrooms to keep them top notch. Thanks again to the folks who run the park here at Pymatuning and keep up the Great work. We have been here several times and will be back again to engage with all the other fine people that we meet on a daily basis at the park. Enjoy yourselves it will be well...

This is a fantastic state park! Very well maintained and has been improved over the years. They have added additional full hookup sites. Many of the sites are within easy reach of the lake. As far as electric service, many are still 20 amp. The full hookups were upgraded to 30/50 as well as a few others. But from the looks of it, most are still 20.
