Asbury Inn & Suites — Hotel in Wilmore

Perfect spot to stay for an Asbury Theological Seminary graduation! When we found out the dates of daughter’s graduation & festivities I searched online for reservations at Asbury Inn & Suites (AI&S) due to the most convenient location but none were available. I called them just to be certain and they actually did have rooms available for the dates we needed so I’m glad I called to inquire! We couldn’t have stayed anywhere more convenient to our needs since AI&S is on campus. Our room was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was much appreciated and quite tasty and the dining area was kept clean & neat. The free breakfast selections included make ‘em yourself waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, bagels, English muffins, toast, oatmeal packets, yogurt, milk, almond milk, fresh apples, clementines & bananas, juice, coffee, variety of teas, breakfast burrito fixin’, and cereal. The shower was clean, water could be adjusted so mine was nice & hot with good pressure and the AC worked well. Hubs & grandson enjoyed playing ping pong and there’s a workout room available. The room was a good size for the 3 of us, the refrigerator & freezer worked well too! Our daughter was staying in a friend’s home & less than a 3 minute walk which was ideal! The beds were comfy and we even used our grandson’s bed for the 4 of us to play the Phase 10 card game on in our room, so fun! Wilmore, KY is only 1 hour & 10 minutes from the Ark Encounter so if you haven’t been we highly recommend plus the Cincinnati Zoo is the best & worth the less than 2 hour drive! Sorry didn’t take...

Update: we stayed again in a double queen room in the main building. I don't think the rooms are as nice in the main building. They need some updating. We did not have any hand soap in the dispenser. Although the night clerk was super nice, they were unable to fill it and gave us a small bar of soap. Otherwise, our stay was good. Asbury Inn & Suites suites are excellent! The room was really clean. We stayed in a suite so we had a separate area for members of the family who stay up late. It was very roomy with a nice sitting area with a pullout couch. Both areas have a door that can be closed for privacy. The location was perfect for our daughter's orientation at Asbury and it felt like a safe area. The service was excellent. We felt very welcome and the front desk employee told our student how much she would love the university. The breakfast was good. The waffles were very good and there was a variety of items. The eggs were just okay as they were a little dry. They do not allow alcoholic beverages or smoking since it is on the seminary grounds, which was no problem for us. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Great price for what you get. Wonderful place to stay. The staff was super friendly, the room was very nice and clean with no odor or heavy perfumes smells. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fridge, microwave, and ironing board.. They had shampoo, conditioner and body wash on the wall which was great for me because my hair is very long and the small single use ones you usually get weren't enough plus its eco friendly which is amazing. Breakfast was nice. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, cereal, beagles, yogurt, fruit almond milk, regular milk and chocolate milk. They also had a bar of fixins with hot sauce, cheese, salsa, ketchup, nutella, cherry's and chocolate chips. I highly recommend this place and will be staying here for any events I will be attending...
