Booked a condo here (unit c - 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom) for a quick 2 day getaway & I was not disappointed!!
Check-in isnt until 4 PM, but we showed up around 1 & they were nice enough to let us get on the river early! They were also nice enough to let us unload all our stuff into the condo early, so we could float without having to rush back.
The condo was neat & tidy. The bedrooms were a great size & the beds were comfortable! The kitchen was stocked with pretty much all you could need to prep & cook a meal, except the knives weren't great, but we made it work. We brought all our food & stocked the fridge with what we needed. They have charcoal grills on the hill overlooking the water.
The website says that they also offer lawn games. They had ladder ball & corn hole, but both were severely damaged or missing key parts... It seemed like an ungrateful guest trashed them... This is why we cant have nice things, folks!
The staff was great with the tubing too! They brought our tubes directly to the condo & took us back when we were finished. They even let us hang on to the tubes after 1 float so we could go a second time if we wanted to.
All in all, this was a fantastic spot for a quick getaway! I've already recommended them to multiple...
Read moreHorrible handicap experience--would give zero stars if I could. Had to push wheelchair over a long stretch of gravel and then bumpy, sloped dirt & grass terrain to get to "reserved" bleachers. Handicap seating was obviously an afterthought for Whitewater--on the walkway/platform across the front of the bleachers. All night a steady stream of people used the elevated platform to get from the crowd to the bar area, tripping over my husband's heavy legs more than once. The paid attendants stood by at the end of the "reserved" platform and did nothing to turn people away from using it as a thoroughfare or a standing area for jerks who had the nerve to stand directly in front of the folks sitting in wheelchairs. On top of that, the concert was so loud that we spent the evening trying in vain to plug our ears. It was by far the worst concert experience I've ever had. On the way out, again pushing the wheelchair through the crowd over gravel, we hit bigger rocks several times, & my husband almost fell out of his wheelchair on his face. That scenario would've required an ambulance & paramedic help. It was extremely stressful & humiliating. It was our first and last time at Whitewater. We will...
Read moreWe stayed in Unit C in March '24. The condo location is fantastic as its right on the Guadalupe River and has a very nice riverside grass area with picnic tables and chairs. Unit C is on the front side of the building so it doesn't have a river view. The unit has 2 BR and was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a short stay. It should be noted that this is an end unit and you will hear consistent traffic, particularly trucks, on Hwy 306. The frame on one of the beds squeaked just walking across the floor so it was impossible to get a good night sleep between traffic noise and the squeaky bed. I notified property mgt so hopefully, they've...
