LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! All the rooms are themed. Our room was decorated very tastefully and OMG the sheets were AWESOME!!!! It even smelled good! We stayed in the Marilyn Monroe room and loved it!!! Even my fiance loved it!! AT FIRST I thought it wasn't going to be a great fit for me but it sure fooled me!! Owners Christine and her husband (Robert I think is his name) they are very nice and friendly! They have managed to turn this hotel into a very cute and quaint home like feel. They sat outside and talked to some of the guest as if they were neighbors in a subdivision and I really love that they are really down to earth!!! Although close to the highway, there was NO NOISE!!!!! It was very quite and peaceful! We would surely go back and hope to visit each themed room! Stay here, you'll be amazed. NO SMOKING IN THE ROOMS BUT outside your room are these cute lil tables for you to do so. I work for a hotel company and have been or can go to to just about any BUT I choose differently sometimes and glad I did this time!!!

As others have said - do NOT make a decision based on the exterior. We were passing through town and never plan ahead, we just ‘wing it’. So we looked up local hotels (we’re typically Hilton, Marriott, etc vacationers) and saw this place. Looked at the reviews and decided to give them a shot. No online booking or information. We called them about 2 hours before we got into town and she was awesome with booking. Super personable. But yeah yeah yeah, anyone can be nice over the phone, right? We got here to check in and our immediate thought, oh no - what did we get ourselves into now?!?! But, same as on the phone - check in was easy and she was friendly. We chose the ‘Eagles’ themed room. Got to the room and pleasantly surprised. Nice and clean. Bathroom new and impeccably clean. Warm cozy one bed room for us. This is a hidden gem. I don’t generally post reviews at all but thought this place was deserving. If we ever roll through town again, this is our go to. Trust the reviews - not the outside. ;)

If I ever have the chance to stay in Arizona again, I will make it a point to visit the Delta Motel again. It was easy to find, just off the highway. The room I stayed in, The Eagles theme, was newly renovated, had a super comfortable bed, great hot water and pressure. I never had any issues with the wifi or anything really, and the mini fridge and microwave were great amenities, as well. And along with all that, the owners, Robert and Christine made the stay that much more better. You'll never get the kind of hospitality and personability in a chain facility. They are the reason I would come back, and know that their vision for the motel is a great one, and I feel truly honored that I got to hear their plans. You will not regret staying here.

The best stay ever. Homey. Happy owners. ...... Since this stay we went back. Start with Room missing half stuff needed. I had found keys for another room.had been looking for forever. Thought all was great. My husband going thru chemo. No hot water whole time there. Thought n told cud extend last minute then told no. O water. My husband sick n drive to phoenix to rough. Said didn't need shower just rest . I went up got breakfast. Left one tray out on table n one from day before returned office. Day before we left went to get towels n to n such. Handed few towels regular floor mat. The morning told couldn't stay. I cleaned floor bathroom fridge unplugged. Hung one towel over trash husband got sick on. Grabbed rest n tray n drove to office. Hollered at owners friend cuz owner busy repairing plumbing .stated Taking towels in office n layed on floor n set tray they're too.husband not doing well headed home to phoenix. Got statement n thought double billed cause owners wife charged wrong. We called he said we took tray and expensive floor mat. He'd charged us 100. I told him had not. Why would I want little tray. That it was cheap floor mat was 15. I asked why 100.00. he said smoked in there. My husband couldn't cause stem cell but either way I did occasionally but sat outside door theirs a table maybe smell travelled. But not a chance of ashes. don't smoke insideI've got COPD use oxygen n husband very I'll stem cell cannot be around. Said they found ashes. It's funny I told him considering I totally cleaned room only thing needed done was linen on one bed n towels. Told him when leaving.possible that the got rooms mixed up like key they lost. All I know.

We took nothing. This was to b me n my husband's last trip. He was dying stem cell didn't work. We were barely surviving is was Splurge he had quit working, I was on disability I finally unpacked bags after husband passed. As I already knew no Matt or tray. I also had taken pictures room clean as could b morning we left. We had been sitting at door and i see smell maybe but was told ashes. This was real let down. Not to mention that hundred set a snowball down n now with virus I've barely surviving. I guess they needed extra money water heaters had to b replaced.

One thing me and his wife sat outside long x she explained that cuz of disrespectful peeps. She now had to assure everyone read about fee if smoking etc occured. But between plumbing disaster and working on it our stay was horrific. That motel cost us around 170.00 for a night. What I thought were incredible people were not. Just situational and common sense would realized there mistake. I'm disappointed...

FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN SHOULD NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I was going to write a positive review, overlooking the less than appealing things about the place, but then our last hour there changed things. I write this review to spare other families with young children the stress that too likely awaits them if they choose to stay here.

Check out time is at 10:30 am. We got our breakfast and took it back to our room. At about 9:15 am my young children were enjoying their breakfast by the open window. They were laughing and talking, excited about our trip. The owner knocked on the door and started talking so fast I couldn't really understand him. Finally, I picked up enough words that I (very confused) asked him "Wait, you think my kids are screaming?", to which he replied "You're in the same room with them and you can't hear them?!!" ... "There are people still asleep in the room next to you. Either quiet down your kids or get out!!" Note, my husband was SOUND ASLEEP in the room. I was so upset that I quickly shut the window and literally kept hushing my kids down to whisper level.

As we were leaving he was all smiles with my husband, explaining to him that the person next to us was observing some religious holiday and was fasting and resting, ... . I went over and (as my husband put it) my frustration was very apparent. But I chose to not pick a fight with the owner. After all, he had my debit card and other information. If he was going to accuse my kids of screaming when they weren't, who's to say he wouldn't accuse us of something else, too?

Lest anyone think I'm overreacting, I truly respect anyone who is being bothered by my children at all and feels the need to tell me or them. My issue was not with the fact that he asked my children to be more quiet. It was how insulting, demeaning, and rudely he did it. And like I said, it was AFTER 9:00 in the morning!!!! He didn't forewarn us of anyone's needs, that we shouldn't have the window open, that the walls were so poorly insulated that we needed to be ridiculously quiet etc. Out of the blue he just blew up at us. So, if I had it to do over again, I would have gladly spent the $40 to stay in the motel next to it, had a lot more/better amenities, and been treated with some respect. And, if they had had issues with us in any way, they probably would have told us at least civilly, if not even kindly, unlike the owner...

2x overnight: Mid-August 1982, and again, November 16th, 1993. First time there overnight there was my mother, then Wanda Lee (Davis) Skelly at age 55, my uncle in a separate nearby room then age 54 Wallace Preston Skelly, my older but not oldest or eldest brother(s) then age 16 Eric Todd Skelly, and me the youngest in my most immediate family then age 14 Robert CHRIStopher Skelly. Just over 11 years later, my mother, same brother, and myself returned a second time for an overnight stay, although my uncle, Wallace Preston Skelly was not present on November 16th, 1993. The stay overnight on 11/16/1993, my mother then was known in full, by name as Wanda Lee (Davis) Skelly Adams Rocco at age 66, my brother Eric Todd Skelly then age 27, and me, Robert CHRIStopher Skelly then age 26. I am more than twice that age, now being age 53, and born on what would become United Nations Day, however, 4 years after I was born, me being born on October 24th, 1967. This is an important place, The Delta Motel. I like how it is fittingly designed, and how it appears on the outside in photos. Now, another 27 years almost has gone by, and an effective and useful memory here has come true to that. Should I travel eastward, this may be my only tie choice of where I might try to stay. I have memories that are original of and around this immediate area, and just outside the property too. I remember the Pizza Hut restaurant on the other side of the road, just down towards most of Winslow, AZ., U.S.A., although I do not know if it is still there. I was then and there in person at that business November 16th, 1993. Also nearby at the service station, and garage was a man I found very distinct, his name was Larry, although I do not know if he still works there, or is a resident citizen of Winslow, Arizona, U.S.A.. I think of these particular areas, that I have mentioned above as always a genuine, authentic, and original constituent of Winslow, AZ., U.S.A., still now, although I have applied the name New Manila Springs, Arizona, U.S.A. to this specific area, being that I am a cartographer, a map maker, with superior outstanding penmanship. More to...
