Royal Inn Motel — Hotel in Winter Haven

The place is disgusting! There was a new cleaning crew a Spanish couple I believe, I only stayed because they worked a miracle in my room. It was super clean. I came back to get a room recently and I guess they got fired because It looks nasty again. The Indian desk clerk smelled like a bottle of Jack.He was so rude & unpleasant.everywhere I turn I see things that make me think this place should be condemned. Roaches, bedbugs,live wire hanging that has not been serviced in years, mold in my A/C that never cools my room. Junkies everywhere. The maintenance guy attempted suicide dude and I heard he lived there. That speaks volumes. I asked the Spanish cleaning lady who seemed out Of place in that rathole what she gets to work there and it broke my heart when she broke down crying and said nothing,they make her pay and work damn near for free!! WHAT??? Somebody needs to report this hell hole.Stay away...

Where to begin. Let's start w the room door.....almost had to kick it in. And from the looks of it the cops probly already have ( a few times). Once you enter it smells like a cleaned up crime scene. Heavy bleach w a faint hint of blood and tissue . I'm not exaggerating if anything I'm talking the place up. The you build it furniture from 20 yrs ago was bubbling and peeling I guess is the best way to describe it. I dare anyone to set a drink on it without spilling. The bathroom sink looked like it was held on to the wall w caulk I'm guessing 10 to 12 tubes. Anyhow please please please sleep on your car I'm sure it's got to be cleaner and more comfy than this place. Cuz if you stay here you probly won't have a car in the morning. Rates are unreasonable refuses to do any kind of matience that was asked to be done! the manger is very rude and animals live in the attic there is no security by the cottages i found that out real quick when my car got vandalized when the manger was told about the animals and the damage done to my car he said it was not his problem ....
