I just can't rave enough about my home away from home. I was a brand new traveler, a city girl, and truth be told I was a little frightened, I was not used to being on my own. When I tell you that my experience was amazing here, I mean every word of it. The staff, the accommodations, the feeling of knowing that they all kept an eye on me, if I needed anything, they were there to help, the amenities were just awesome, indoor pool, workout spot, nice clean laundry room, an open room right by laundry if u wanted to wait .there were couches, huge TV. Winter months, no worries they keep the parking lot cleared, u may be asked to move ur car, so it won't be in the way. Normally they let you know ahead of time, they truly make an effort to get to know work schedules, as to not wake people up unnecessarily. The condos are beautiful, u have a patio no matter what floor, spacious room, and a full kitchen, being a traveler that is a life saver, there are grills on property u can use anytime. I could go on and on. I am a grown woman, however I had never been away from home on my own, miles and miles away, so my mom was being mom and called them to check on me, they were awesome, mom was happy, small town living, it's awesome. I will end with this, Travelers if you want to feel safe and receive help if I need it and you want to live in a beautiful Condo, hands down this is the place, if you have to work an extra shift so be it. It is worth it trust me, I lived there for 2yrs, all of the staff are amazing 🤩🤩. I would stay there again. Listen, this is for you people that complain that it's dated it's a dump, it has black mold..it does have black mold, it is very clean, and so far as the dated comments, did you not pay attention while out and about, uuummm most all of the buildings are white and have that same dated look, it is that way on purpose, it's the history of the town, the inside of the condos are not going to look like the Hilton, it all falls into place with the history, the furniture is not nasty and uncomfortable and raggedy. To my friends at Windrifter the Nay...
Read moreFirst thing was only 1 bolt holding toilet seat in place. Door jam to building front door edge was all brown and rusty looking. Not a good impression. There was black mold on shower baseboard edge and on ceiling in shower.. Had to ask for a can opener. Had to watch your face sitting on toilet, as if you moved forward your nose hit the doorknob..Shower head was not moveable, so had to push face against shower wall to rinse backside. Was hard to shower with water hitting the wall up high, couldnt adjust. Mattress was lumpy, Had to move to couch 2nd nite as neighbor in VC1 was coughing, hacking ALL nite long., Then the mattress caved in middle on couch and light was very bright coming thru miniblinds. The wand on blinds in LR was broke so couldnt adjust them, and neighbor on other side was slamming doors til 3 Am sliding door and front door. we were there 8 days. Went away 2 days so to get rest and take a decent shower. Won't be back.I left them a...
Read moreWe have one week membership for a one bedroom (sleeps four) time-share, but can use the facilities without restrictions year round.
We take advantage of a fairly liberal usage policy by swapping our set days for scattered dates for friends and family.
In addition we use the exercise room and sauna several times each week. There also is a seasonal tennis court and indoor salt water pool. In addition there are several rooms available for events at additional fees.
The place is kept clean but is neither modern nor quaint (except for the barn which has character) although renovations are constantly in process to bring the place more up-to-date. They are a little slow in repairing exercise equipment and other common use items.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and it is a short drive to town center of Wolfeboro which is a nice place to shop, stroll, or take a seasonal...
