Osiyo Plaza Hotel — Hotel in Samarkand City

My stay at Osiyo Plaza Hotel in Samarkand, Uzbekistan was thoroughly disappointing. Despite the promising exterior and inviting lobby, the experience quickly turned sour. The room was cramped and uncomfortable, with beds so hard it felt like sleeping on the sidewalk. Adding to the discomfort was a persistent foul odor emanating from the bathroom, making it difficult to relax. To make matters worse, upon checking in, we discovered trash left behind in the room, old stained pillows indicating a lack of cleanliness and attention to detail. While the breakfast options were passable, they hardly made up for the overall unpleasantness of the stay. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay...

This was such a dissappointing experience. The lobby looks good, but the rooms and especially the bathrooms are not as nice as the photos. Our room looked clean, but there was torn bedsheet in our room, and the cusions were dirty; looks like they did not notice it. The shower was very basic and old. The person at the check in desk does not speak any English; the check out took a long time, the guy was so clueless as if he started his job yesterday. It was not fun, since we had to leave for the airport. We left around 7:30, and the breakfast room was closed… I wonder how prepared they would be for serving the breakfast. I didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre.
