The hotel itself is ok though overpriced for what you get. But the location is horrible and there is a lot of construction in the area which wakes you up. Below I've listed different aspects good and bad. ||Hotel/rooms- decent, clean lobby and relatively clean rooms. We found a dirty ashtray and garbage in one of the draws. Not sure how housekeeping missed that especially since I'm pretty sure we were the only guests in the hotel. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and shower hot. Wifi worked well too. ||Staff - they were nice but there is literally only one or 2 people who spoke English and he wasn't there much at all. ||Location - absolutely terrible. If you rent a motorbike it might be ok but you will be traveling for everything. It's maybe 25 minutes from marble mountains which is a perk but literally not near anything else. You have to walk about an hour to get to the beach. The only restaurant nearby has no menu in English so you are at the mercy of the only English speaking staff member at the hotel to translate (food is not that good either). There is so much construction going on by the beach and hotel, in fact the construction by hotel will wake you up early so I hope you don't have ideas of sleeping in. ||Cost- given all of these factors I think the hotel is overpriced. ||Based on all of this I would suggest to by my kye beach instead. Here is still a log of construction but much more within walking distance. Overall da nang is being built up with luxury hotels and high rises but it has a long way to go, when it's done I'm sure it will be great but also very expensive. These are things I wish we had looked into more...
Read moreI have used this hotel several times as a base from which to travel up and down the length of Vietnam. Close to the beach and some interesting places.||||The rooms are light and airy and very clean and well presented. Service with a smile from Nih the receptionist.Nothing was any trouble for this member of staff to provide, whether it was morning coffe or directions to a place of interest. You would dowell to visit this hotel and enjoy the stay. If you like to sleep in, I suggest you ask for a room at the rear of the hotel as the front rooms are close to the morning commuters beeping the horns. You can hire a motorcycle from the hotel for 1500,000 dong a day ($US6) including helmets. The bikes were in good condition and performed well, Food can be eaten inhouse ( yout room) and can be ordered from the great little restaurant Nhu Anh that is directly opposite.Rates for the room are about $US 20 a day depending on...
