Khách sạn Nhật Vy — Hotel in Da Lat City

The receptionist doesn't speak a word of English her attitude towards us was terrible we were made to feel unwelcome... She wanted to keep our passports when we arrived but we said she could only take a copy to which she pulled a face at us!!! Another member of staff tried to get into our room whilst we were about to get ready for drinks one night... Bearing in mind the room had already been cleaned that day so they have no reason to enter after that! When we asked her what she wanted her reply was she thought we were out... Even still what was she doing entering our room??? Their is no safe in the rooms to keep belongings in so we literally had to carry a bag every where with us with passports purses laptop camera & I pad in as we didn't trust them to leave it behind reception! We asked them several times to call us a taxi & when it arrived the man just pointed for us to go outside instead of opening the door for us & letting us know it had arrived! When ever we arrived back in a taxi a member of staff appeared outside & hung around the taxi like a bad smell making us feel unwelcome to be back... The shower in our room was amazing until after 5 mins the water went cold & never heated back up for several hours... We were woken up every morning without fail around 5:30am by people shouting running & banging about & at no time did I see or hear of member of staff asking them to keep the noise down! It really is a shame as the setting is beautiful & a taxi is a 5 min ride into town where there is amazing food markets bars & restaurants... The hotel is nicely decorated & very modern it's just a shame the staff & customer service skills let it down! We left today & we have never felt so glad to get out of a hotel!!! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to stay there... The receptionist should maybe take a course on customer service & management skills then the hotel might be a bit more of a...

nice room but very high priced compared with other hotels. it's a very quiet location but the rooms have zero sound proofing we could hear people talking in the room next to us through to 2am and could even hear everything that was going on in the reception area. We had a small accedent where we spilt some of my cup of tea on the corner of the bed I quickly pulled the sheet off and put a towel on the bed mattress which saved the bed and I'm so glad I did because when we went to check out next thing I know we buying the bed sheet because the cleaning lady is having a hissing fit saying she won't clean that. We stayed 2 nights at 400k per night and she want 250 k for the bed sheet well I have seen king size bed sheets in the department stores for around 100 k. We negotiated briefly got it to 200 k and off we went with a bed sheet that we didn't need got to our next hotel sure we had to soak the sheet over a couple of days in soap but we got it clean.
