The Ha Giang Loop is honestly a must if you go to Vietnam. Drop your luggage off at your hotel and take a small bag with you and tie it to the back of a motorbike and off you go! Yes, your butt will hurt if you’re on the motorbike. But it’s so worth it! And don’t wear floaty pants, that’s a mistake. But otherwise, I can’t go on about how incredible an experience it is, and how incredibly cinematic it is. It’s impossible to capture the best views, because half the time you’re on a mountain top road and can’t stop. But it’s worth it, just for the experiences. I met so many people along the way, chatted to everyone and kept bumping into them along the route. And I really enjoyed how this place was still very raw and unfettered by tourism; I encountered so many locals making hemp clothing or farming corn. Perfect for anyone going on an adventure.
