Having recently stayed at the Gloud Hotel, I can confidently say that it has completely changed my perception of where to stay in Hanoi. Many people automatically consider big names like the Marriott, but I truly believe there’s no reason to choose a chain hotel over Gloud. This boutique gem offers a much more affordable option without sacrificing quality, comfort, or service. In fact, I found their attention to detail and customer service to far surpass expectations.

From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The reception staff deserve a special mention for their helpfulness and attentiveness. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing local tips, or simply checking in to ensure my stay was comfortable, they went above and beyond in every interaction. It’s rare to find such a high level of personal care in larger hotels, and it made all the difference during my stay.

The room itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. I enjoyed the perfect night’s sleep without any disturbances—a rarity in bustling Hanoi. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens crisp and clean, and the soundproofing excellent. After a long day exploring the city, it was an oasis of calm and relaxation.

Breakfast at Gloud Hotel was another highlight. Their buffet truly caters to all tastes, whether you’re craving Western classics, Vietnamese favorites, or something lighter. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and continually replenished to ensure everyone had a satisfying start to their day. The dining staff were just as attentive as the front desk, making sure each guest felt cared for.

I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciated the value Gloud Hotel provides. Why pay premium prices at a chain hotel when you can enjoy a more intimate and personalized experience here? One of the standout moments was when they arranged a cab for us at a lower price than we expected for our trip to the airport, showcasing their dedication to guest satisfaction. The room, albeit small, was impeccably clean and surprisingly comforting. Despite the size, it felt cozy and well-maintained, making for a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the city. The breakfast served was not only delicious but offered a variety that catered to different tastes. Additionally, their thoughtful gesture of small Christmas gifts made the stay even more special and added a personal touch to the holiday season away from home. Upon entering the room, I was immediately captivated by its beautiful decor. The stylish setting exuded an air of sophistication and set the tone for a truly memorable stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

A special mention must go to Phuong on the front desk who went above and beyond to make our stay special. He provided us with a wealth of knowledge on where to go, where to eat etc which meant we really enjoyed the best time during our short stay. He even sent us information on Ha Long after we left to ensure our next place was also memorable.

If I ever visit Hanoi again I know where to stay and I would without a doubt always recommend this hotel to friends and family...
